It’s officially springtime in Disney World, which means Spring Break crowds have ARRIVED!

Between the continuing 50th Anniversary Celebration and the 2022 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, guests are flocking to the parks to take advantage of all the fun! Whether it’s makeovers to the resort hotels, new roller coasters, or dining options that we can’t wait to try, there’s a lot on the horizon for the vacation destination. However, the thing that we may have been waiting on the longest is the Tron Coaster in Magic Kingdom…and today it hit a HUGE milestone!
The temperatures are rising in Central Florida and the crowds are out to get a little sunshine in Disney World!

The brand new indoor roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, will finally welcome guests onboard THIS summer and we’ve been bringing you along with us for allll the updates on the ride vehicles, when filming for the ride took place, and we even got a look inside. We’ve also been keeping a close eye on the construction progress (at least, what we can see of it), and today we’re another step closer!

We’re SO excited for the ride. We’ve been getting updates on it for a while, with a look at the ride vehicles, news of filming for the ride, and even a look inside. Construction is moving along nicely, and we just got another update about an important part of the project!
We’ve been keeping track of quite a few construction projects around Disney World and we’re starting to get more details about when they might open!
Mickey and Minnie 50th Anniversary Golden Statues
So far, we know that both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the new Toy Story-themed restaurant (Roundup Rodeo BBQ) will open in 2022, but there might be even more to come! And, aside from all the NEW things coming this year, there are also some other rides, restaurants, and resorts getting some TLC.
