Destination D23 is the ultimate Disney fan’s dream convention, where you hear from some of the top leaders in the company. It’s a three-day-long celebration of Disney, and there are usually some pretty big announcements made. Now we’ve heard some exciting news for all you huge Disney fans!
Disney is hosting a huge event for Disney fans to get a glimpse into the company.

That’s right, we’re talking about Destination D23. This fan convention is taking place this from September 8th through the 10th at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort. This is where Disney executives give a peek into all the things going on at Disney, from the parks to the movies. At the event, there are scheduled panels where Disney often reveals new information about what’s to come. We have 5 things we are HOPING to hear announced at those panels!

Hello Figment Popcorn Bucket!
Occasionally, there will be an item that is in such high demand that it sells out FAST! Then, sometimes, it ends up on eBay and sells for WAY higher than its original price (like the Figment Popcorn Bucket, for example). Well, it’s happened again, but not with a popcorn bucket this time.
With the gigantic EPCOT transformation winding down, TRON Lightcycle / Run open in Magic Kingdom, and several hotel renovations wrapping up…what’s next for Disney World?!

Most of the construction projects that were originally slated to be completed for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary (but were delayed due to the pandemic) are now complete, and many fans are wondering what happens now. So when Disney World teased a GIANT expansion for Magic Kingdom, it’s no wonder that the fans were intrigued!

Destination D23 2021
Destination D23 will be taking place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from September 8th through the 10th, 2023 and it could bring some MAJOR updates. The event is typically full of presentations that feature details about important upcoming Disney projects. In 2021, it was at Destination D23 that we learned updates about Fantasmic!’s return to Disney World, the Finding Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom, and more. The 2023 Destination D23 event has already sold out (though some will be livestreamed!) and now we’ve got a big update!
If you’re a D23 Member, we may or may not be extremely jealous of you right now.
Halloween in Magic Kingdom
D23 is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the beloved spooky film Hocus Pocus. As Disney’s official fan club, D23 is inviting its members to celebrate 30 years of spellbinding fun in Salem, Massachusetts, where the film is based.
Sometimes, you just need a little R&R. Just a bit of peace and quiet.
Life isn’t always as relaxing as it is at Disney World!
One of our favorite ways to relax, take a few moments to ourselves, practice mindfulness, or even keep the kiddos entertained is to simply sit down and color.
