Disney World has made certain modifications to their policies throughout the pandemic.
In order to accommodate people’s uncertain travel plans in the last year, Disney World created and then extended a flexible cancellation policy, which waives select Disney-imposed cancellation and modification fees for guests choosing to cancel or change their vacation details. However, if you have a trip coming up, you’ll want to know that this perk ends soon.

Traveling to Disney World soon? You may be on the hunt for a hotel.
Whether you’re staying onsite, just offsite, near Disney Springs, or somewhere else entirely, there’s plenty of options for your trip to Disney. And now there’s a brand-new one, too!
We’ll often see Disney raise prices in the theme parks. Sometimes, the increases are a few cents added to a Mickey pretzel, and other times, it’s a large increase in ticket prices. We can usually predict that Disney will increase prices at some point during the year. However, it’s no secret that this year has been anything BUT predictable!
Walt Disney World had big plans in the making like the huge EPCOT overhaul including attractions, expansions, and an entirely new look. Many of these projects are pushing forward while others were suspended indefinitely. With all the changes, can we safely assume what items will increase in price and when? We’ve gathered a list of items that could see price increases in 2021, based on previous years.
Although many special events have been canceled this year due to the global health crisis, there are still plenty of fabulous foodie events happening at Disney World!
We’ve been happily eating our way around the 2020 EPCOT Taste of Epcot Food and Wine Festival. And although the Swan and Dolphin’s Food and Wine Classic was canceled this year, we’ve been given the alternative Sip, Savor, & Stay Saturdays.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is now welcoming back guests after a temporary closure.
While the Villas at the Grand Floridian and some of the resort’s restaurants had already opened, the non-Disney Vacation Club guest rooms reopened today! We visited the hotel to see what things look like now that it’s officially reopened.
Sip, Savor, & Stay starts this weekend at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort!
Sip, Savor, & Stay is a modified version of the annual Food and Wine Classic event. This year, the event will be held indoors and with a limited capacity. Along with an overnight stay at the resort, guests will have access to finely curated food, drink, and entertainment! Swan and Dolphin JUST released the full menus for the first two weekends of this delish event! We gotta tell you, this stuff looks GOOD.
Between the beautiful Pacific Northwest atmosphere and some superb dining spots (helloooo, Geyser Point!), Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is an AMAZING resort!
And if you’ve stayed there or ever just dreamed of staying there, there’s a new piece of merch that is the PERFECT way to remember this hotel.
It’s been too long since we got our Tonga Toast fix! We headed back to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a special breakfast at Kona Cafe.
On our last adventure to Kona Cafe, we shared what the dining experience is like since it re-opened. We indulged in crispy pork and vegetable potstickers and washed it down with a giant pineapple filled with Lapu Lapu. Now we’re BACK and stuffin’ our faces with one of the most popular breakfast classics at Walt Disney World.
