We’ve already got Destination D23 to look forward to in September and the IAAPA Expo in November which could bring some theme park updates. But there’s an important date to know before then — August 9th. On August 9th, Disney will hold its earnings call for the third quarter of fiscal year 2023 (Q3 of FY 2023) and that could give us some MAJOR updates on a few different things. Here’s what we’re expecting.

Magic Kingdom
We can hardly keep up with all of the new merchandise, snacks, and changes that take place in the parks, restaurants, and hotels. Some weeks in particular, though, are a bit more hectic than others when it comes to big changes and updates. Well, folks, this was one of those weeks.
It’s August, which means that fall has officially arrived in Disney World.
Halloween is HERE!
Halloween decorations are already gracing the buildings that line Main Street, U.S.A., ghoulish merchandise now fills the shelves of some merchandise shops, and now, we’re only a few days away from the very first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year! Disney has already shared several details regarding these special-ticketed parties in Magic Kingdom, but there are still a few things that they’ve left unsaid.
One of our favorite things about the Disney Parks is the amount of thought and detail that goes into the park theming and decor.
Partners Statue
Throughout each of the Disney Parks, there are small tributes to Walt Disney himself — and, of course, the Mouse that started it all. Statues of Walt and Mickey can be found at a few of the Disney Parks, like the “Partners” Statue that can be found in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Now, Disney has shared a first look at an all-new statue that’s coming soon to a Disney Park.
For Disney fans who LOVE a good snack, EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is one of the BEST times of the year.

With booths featuring dozens of seasonal eats and sips, eating at this festival can truly be an experience in itself. This year’s Food and Wine Festival began on July 27th, and we tried EVERYTHING. We had a few favorites, of course, and today we’re going to share some of them with you. This post is dedicated to the very BEST items at the Food and Wine Festival that you can get for under $5.
Things could be CHANGING at the Disney Company in a big way soon.

Disney’s Haunted Mansion joined the list of films that have underperformed on their opening weekends, despite high production costs. But, there are other struggles at the Walt Disney Company that current CEO Bob Iger must deal with too. Iger recently shared that he is considering making some MAJOR changes to the company’s linear networks, and now it looks like some help has been brought in to advise Iger as things move forward.

What’s your favorite airline?
Maybe you feel that one airline has a friendlier crew than the other. Or, maybe you like the complimentary snacks and free wifi. Maybe you have better luck finding flight deals with a certain airline. No matter what it may be, we all have our preferences and little things that make our flight experience better. For those of you who love Disney World, an airline has added some subtle Disney details that might make part of the flight feel just like you’re riding a Disney World ride.

Between the Grimace Shake, the Omelette Wrap, the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry, and more, McDonald’s in particular has come out with quite a few different snacks we just couldn’t wait to get our hands on. And, the snack train isn’t stopping anytime soon because a NEW menu item is coming to McDonald’s!
Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, Mickey and Minnie — some pairings just make sense.

Disney and McDonald’s know all about that even if it’s been a while since we’ve been able to get those golden, delicious french fries in the parks. But, we still get to reap the rewards of that partnership because new Marvel Happy Meal Toys have landed at McDonald’s!
No matter how much you probably try to stay away, something about those golden arches keeps pulling you back in.

Whether it’s seriously strange marketing campaigns, a birthday party for a *checks notes* purple monster, or new menu items, McDonald’s is constantly coming up with ways to keep us coming back. And just when we learned a snack was coming, McDonald’s is removing others from its menu!
