Planning a trip to Disney World is tricky enough before even factoring in cost. We’re no strangers to Disney World price increases, as we’ve seen things like ticket prices and Lightning Lane costs get more expensive this year. Unfortunately, the blows aren’t slowing down as Disney World has increased food costs across their resorts.
Buckle up, folks, this isn’t the kind of news we’re happy to share.

For several reasons such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the amazing fall treats, October at Disney World can be a special time. Unfortunately, it’s also the time of the year when we crash back into reality as Disney World price hikes are announced. That trend is continuing with this latest announcement.
Well, folks, October 11th has been an eventful (and slightly annoying) day for Disney fans everywhere, as we received a LOT of news regarding the Disney Parks.
Cinderella Castle
While we did receive the good news that Park Hopping restrictions will be lifted on January 9th, we were also met with price increase, after price increase, after price increase. We see many price changes take place year after year, but these increases just hurt our soul a little extra. Many of these increases were spotted on restaurant menus across the resorts in general. Now, we’re here to focus on the price increases spotted on the menus of hotel restaurants at Disney World. Let’s go!
We have good news and bad news.
Magic Kingdom
The good news is that park hopping is returning to normal in Disney World in 2024! The bad news is that a TON of price increases have hit the parks and hotels. It’s something we see time and time again, but this time — it impacts our beloved Starbucks.
Disney has announced several price increases today, and now there’s another one that will apply to you if you’re driving to Disney World.

Disney World’s most elegant dining experience is almost back!

Victoria & Albert’s, one of the most expensive restaurants at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, is reopening on July 28th! Reservations will open soon, on June 20th, and we’re excited to see one of Disney World’s most unique experiences available again! We’ve also noticed some price increases in Disney World lately, and it looks like they’ve also hit this already pricey spot.
We might only be halfway through 2022, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to 2023!
