It is no secret that we all miss Disneyland and we wish we could celebrate their 65th anniversary with them!

Even though we don’t know exactly when Disneyland will officially reopen, we can still reminisce about the food through some Disney recipes!
Today, California Governor Gavin Newsom held a news conference where he provided an update on the state’s reopening initiatives. While taking questions from reporters, Newsom commented that the negotiations with theme parks are “open-ended,” signaling that the state has yet to produce definitive reopening guidelines for Disneyland.

It was also announced today that Orange County, where Disneyland resides, has advanced to the next reopening tier. According to the city of Anaheim’s reopening website, that means that indoor dining can resume soon!
Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort reopened on July 9th under new health and safety regulations.

The new California health regulation only allows restaurants with outdoor seating to remain open. Despite having outdoor seating, some Downtown Disney restaurants like Tortilla Jo’s remained closed while places like Uva Bar and Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria opened with the rest of the shopping and dining district. Disneyland Park has proposed a reopening for July 17th and we’re waiting for more details.

We know that Disney World went through a slew of systemic cancellations in preparation for reopening, including the removal of all upcoming Advance Dining Reservations. There has been no word on whether Disneyland will do the same, but today, we’ve noticed a change to the Disneyland website that looks a lot like the ones we’ve seen for Disney World.

Disneyland Resort remains closed until further notice in response to the current global situation. Looking forward, though, guests are currently able to make reservations for Disneyland Resort as bookings for future vacations are currently being accepted for dates starting July 1st.
