We confirmed with store employees that Promenade will be closing at Disney’s BoardWalk on October 19th and will be moving to a new location.

This spot is great for special occasions, as it is pretty expensive, but we have to admit — these treats are GOOD! We’re rarely disappointed here, and as it turns out, this new cake is one of the best we’ve had, and we think EVERYONE should try it!

We are getting close to being ONE month out from the opening of two brand-new Disney shows in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On April 27th, we will be just one month away from the debut of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.”

We have been waiting (not so) patiently for the grand opening show, and we are getting closer and closer! However, we still have a bit before they open. Let’s take a closer look at what these shows are replacing and what else is closed in Disney World this week.
Disney World is currently preparing for numerous new experiences in the coming years and refurbishing current attractions. Brand-new lands, including Pueblo Esperanza, Monsters, Inc. Land, and Villains Land will be coming. Plus, new lounges like the GEO-82 lounge in EPCOT will be opening, and new shows such as “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be debuting.

As well, Test Track, Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will also be refreshed. While we are excited about new openings and refreshed attractions, these updates also mean there will be closures that could impact your trip.
An iconic entertainment venue on Disney’s Boardwalk is closing in Disney World soon! You only have ONE week left to grab a few more drinks and sing along to the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls, so make that one week count.

Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk is officially closing on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close.
It is an exciting week as a popular Disney World hotel’s food court is officially fully open! We have been watching the progress closely, and last week, the refurbishment was completed.

Disney’s BoardWalk
This area is located just minutes from EPCOT by foot, and while you can take a Friendship Boat to travel to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, The Walt Disney World Swan Resort, The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, AND Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, you can also walk to each one relatively quickly. While there are a few different places to grab ice cream, the one that may stick out the most to you is Beaches and Cream, specifically the To-Go window if you don’t have a reservation for the restaurant.
