We’ve seen increases impact park tickets, park hopper options, and snacks within the last few months. But now a price increase has been revealed for something else.
Resort hopping is one of our favorite things to do at Disney, and splurging at the resort shops, eating at the themed restaurants, and simply looking at all the resort decor makes a good day even better!
Sometimes, some really great merchandise and snack options are hiding in the resort shops rather than in the parks. We went to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then later took the Skyliner to some other resorts on property, and we found some great items including several exclusive things for DVC members! Plus, we even got to see some construction!
It’s a good time to be a Disney fan, because there are discounts GALORE.
If you’re traveling to Disney World this summer, you’ll find everything from room discounts to dining card promos to ticket offers available. But if you’re in the Disney fandom for the long haul, we’ve got an even bigger offer that you might be interested in!
Being a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Member definitely has its perks. Besides getting access to exclusive accommodations both in the parks and on cruise ships, members can also get early access to new rides!
One benefit that many members love is the Moonlight Magic events. These are after-hours events held specially for DVC members, and after a hiatus, they finally returned last year. At Moonlight Magic you can enjoy attractions with shorter wait times, meet your favorite characters, sample tasty treats, and more. Now, we have the 2023 dates for Moonlight Magic events in Disney World and Disneyland!
It might seem like there is ALWAYS something under construction in Disney World, and that’s often the case!
EPCOT is still undergoing its massive transformation (with a new attraction on the way), a new roller coaster will be opening soon in Magic Kingdom, and Disney World hotels are getting loads of updates. Speaking of which, we’re going to go check up on construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, so let’s see what’s going on there, shall we?
Not all Disney fan clubs are created equally. Some fans are so devoted to vacationing at Disney, they consider it to be their Home Away From Home.
Of course, we’re talking about the Disney Vacation Club! There are plenty of perks to buying into this program, like travel flexibility, exclusive events, discounts, and more. But recently, we’ve spoken to DVC members who are leaving the program and asked them why, but that made us wonder something else — what are the biggest reasons fans won’t buy into Disney Vacation Club?
If you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland Resort in 2023, there are a lot of events to check out!
We’ve got returning food festivals early in the year, plus special After Hours events at select parks that give you access to shorter lines for rides. But if you want the ultimate VIP experience, you’ll want to check out one of the DVC Moonlight Magic events…and we just got details on how to register!
Have you ever been to a Disney after-hours event?

Pixar Pier at night
Disney’s holiday parties like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (in Disney World) can give you the chance to enjoy special entertainment, food, and more in the park once others have left for the day. But there are other more EXCLUSIVE after-hours events, like those for Disney Vacation Club members. Moonlight Magic is one of those events. In 2022, we saw Moonlight Magic return to Disney World (and quickly sell out!), but now we’ve got an update for DVC Members for 2023! [Read more…]
