Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will reopen to guests on July 11th (along with Disney’s Animal Kingdom, followed by Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on July 15th).

It’s Christmas Time!
We’ve spotted Christmas treats and decor and merchandise — oh my! But those aren’t the only things getting the holiday treatment. Some of your favorite Magic Kingdom Attractions are getting Yuletide makeovers as well! We previously reported on festive trees popping up over at the Tomorrowland Speedway, and now we’re excited to share photos from a returning favorite!
“You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!” YES, now you can fly again in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, because Peter Pan’s Flight is now reopen! The beloved attraction has been closed for about a month for refurbishment.

If your “Happy Space” is Space Mountain, then you’ll be seeing the recently refurbished exit on your way out of the Mountain the next time you conquer it in Magic Kingdom!

Disney revealed its plans for the upcoming Tron coaster-style attraction coming to Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland last July. And as work progresses on the new attraction which will be set next to Space Mountain, there will be some changes around Magic Kingdom to accommodate construction.

The Walt Disney World Railroad will pause its Grand Circle Tours around the park starting December 2018. During the closure, Magic Kingdom guests will be able to take a closer look at the railroad (temporarily taking up residence at the Main Street Station) and “take advantage of one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.” [Read more…]
