Wondering what restaurants are worth your money in Magic Kingdom?
The DFB team has eaten EVERYWHERE, ALL across this park, over and over again — and we’re here to tell you about the best of the best today, on DFB Guide.
We’ve eaten everywhere in Disney World. Yes, EVERYWHERE.
Nope, we’re not exaggerating. We’ve been in the business of reviewing Disney World restaurants for 15 years and we’ve been Disney fans even longer than that, so we have DECADES of experience dining “around the World.” For that reason, we’ve tried hundreds (maybe thousands) of items on the menus at Disney World’s table service restaurants, and we have strong opinions about what you should eat…opinions that we’re about to share with you!
Cinderella’s Royal Table is an iconic Disney World restaurant. In fact, its location inside Cinderella Castle might just make it the MOST iconic of all.
So you might be wondering, with such fancy surroundings, does Cinderella’s Royal Table have a dress code?
Have you kept up with all the recent Disney World CHANGES?
A character meet-and-greet attraction finally reopened recently, and Disney just announced when a long-closed restaurant will finally open its doors as well. There’s a lot going on in every Disney World park, so come with us to Magic Kingdom to check out a few recent updates! [Read more…]
If you’re a Disney World newbie, there might be one BIG thing that surprises you about visiting Magic Kingdom…
…there’s hardly any alcohol there! While the other three Disney World parks sell bottled beer at carts and mixed drinks at snack stands, you won’t see the same in Magic Kingdom. But there are a few places you can imbibe in the OG WDW park, you’ll just need to know where to look!
Which side are you on: Standard theme park food in Disney, or unique Disney offerings all the way?
We’ve got members of our team on both sides of the matter. Most quick-service restaurants are more likely to have some more classic theme park offerings, whereas table service or sit-down meals can sometimes have more adventurous offerings — but there are plenty of exceptions to this! We headed to a quick-service spot in Magic Kingdom, the Golden Oak Outpost, to try some of their more standard options that are presented with a few unique additions.

We’re in Disney World every single day, and we’ve tried just about everything there is to eat there. We’re here to help you find the best possible food, drinks, and snacks! Come along with us to see the best places to eat in Magic Kingdom. [Read more…]
We’ve said before that Magic Kingdom isn’t our favorite Disney World park for dining. EPCOT clearly has it beat, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom has some incredible eats as well. But did you know there’s an absolute GEM hiding in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square?
One sit-down restaurant that has us returning again and again is Liberty Tree Tavern. This spot serves Thanksgiving dinner year-round with fantastic theming and a dessert course to die for. We’re heading back into the Tavern today to see if it’s as good as we remember! Come along with us to find out whether you should make reservations for your next trip. [Read more…]
One Magic Kingdom restaurant just got BETTER.
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom reopened in 2020 as a family-style meal, and the buffet returned in late 2021. However, this whole time there’s been one very important element that’s MISSING from this table service restaurant: the characters! Winnie the Pooh and his friends used to be a staple at the Palace, but they’ve been MIA for the past couple of years. [Read more…]
