This year has definitely had its share of unprecedented situations — and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival has also gotten a bit of a shake-up!
When Epcot reopened to guests on July 15th, the park also kicked off its annual Food & Wine Festival which will run through the fall, making it the longest Food & Wine to date! The festival also includes some elements from the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which began just a few days prior to the park closure.
It’s time to savor the tastes, sights, sounds, and scents of Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival, and we are so excited! This year brings several NEW experiences, including expanded entertainment, fresh eats, and more ways to involve the kiddos!
So plant yourself for a moment while we seed your plans with all the NEW Flower and Garden fun!
If you’ve walked the boardwalk around Disney World’s Boardwalk Inn resort recently you may have noticed there was some work being done on the Boardwalk Pizza Window located outside Trattoria al Forno. We now know the menu was being updated!
The location now offers a broader menu with more pizza choices – in a personal size or a whole pie, as well as sub sandwiches, new salads and desserts. [Read more…]

Not only has Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant just won a prestigious award, it’s also got a few new menu items!
Welcome Guest Author Daniel S. with his review of the new chicken dish at the Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant! The new entree replaces the Rotisserie Cornish Hen.

Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant recently changed up its dinner menu a bit, and I got the chance to try the new chicken dish. First of all, here’s something that’s interesting to note: the new Chicken Breast Provençal wasn’t yet on the printed menu when we visited. Our waitress said it was available to order, but the hen was still reflected on the current menu handed out.
She described it as basically Chicken Parmesan without the cheese. I would disagree. The sauce had a very distinct flavor. Do not expect an Italian essence. It was a mixture of white wine and green olive, with heavy emphasis on the olive. No hint of garlic in the sauce at all.

Please welcome back Guest Author Julie B. as we head with her to the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney Orlando. Today, she samples the Chicken Pesto Pomodoro Sandwich! Let’s check it out…
There’s a lot of buzz about the new offerings at Earl of Sandwich and I’m eager to sample the new wraps, salads, soups, and sandwiches.
While I was sad that the new items weren’t on the menu yet when I visited, I couldn’t pass up a chance to try another undiscovered sandwich while at my favorite Disney sandwich shop!
The Chicken Pesto Pomodoro sandwich was a winter seasonal selection that is supposedly becoming a regular item on the menu!
It features grilled chicken, Swiss cheese, tomato, and basil leaves. They said the bread is brushed with olive oil before being coated in basil pesto.
A very helpful hostess recommended ordering an extra side of pesto (she said some were finding the sandwich too dry without any extra).
