Welcome back to Disney World’s resorts — we have lots of news to share!
There are a wide variety of hotels at Disney World, from kid-friendly Value Resorts to more luxurious Deluxe Resorts. Each has its own amenities, activities, and news to share, so we’re compiling all of the latest here for you to check out!
It’s time to celebrate Mardi Gras!
At Disney World, THE place to be for these celebrations is Port Orleans Resort! Guests can take part in themed activities at the resorts (like checking out a super unique parade), listen to exciting jazz music, and even enjoy tasty treats. If you don’t know that these celebrations are going on, you might have totally missed them — they’re a bit of a secret! But now that you’re “in the know,” join us as we check out 2 of the treats available there and see if either is worth your cash.
There are all kinds of events that take place at Disney World. You might be familiar with their Christmas celebrations and Halloween festivities, but there are OTHER special events that take place that you may have NEVER heard of.
Did you know that there’s a hidden Mickey that comes out once a year to celebrate Mickey’s birthday? Or that you can sometimes catch a very limited-time Easter Parade in Magic Kingdom? Well, now we’re adding another celebration to your list of events to check out in the future — and it’s over at a beloved hotel, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter (and Riverside too)!
Some guests feel like staying at a Disney resort is the better choice when on vacation at Disney World. It is true there is a lot that you receive when staying on-property that you can’t get anywhere else.
But we found that besides the price difference, there aren’t a lot of cons that people discuss when comparing Disney resorts to other, non-Disney hotels in Orlando. It’s important to consider EVERY aspect, especially when your hard-earned cash is on the line!
