It’s almost summer, y’all!

That means time to hit the water parks, eat ice cream, and indulge in frozen drinks all over Disney World. And we’re on it!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a little short on dining options right now. Sure, you can get your Pulled Pork Nachos at Capt. Cook’s, but some of our FAVORITE spots here like ‘Ohana, Trader Sam’s, and Spirit of Aloha are closed still.

But there’s one reliable restaurant that is here to fill the void: Kona Cafe!
Avengers Campus is FINALLY open in Disney California Adventure Park and there’s so much to explore!!

You can take a ride on WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, check out all of the Avengers-themed merchandise, and you might even see a familiar face or two. But, right now we’re focused on…the FOOD!! If you’re looking for a sweet snack in Avengers Campus, one of the out-of-this-world places you can stop at is Terran Treats. This spot is serving up some uniquely flavored/shaped churros and more! We’ve been making our way around the area, looking at all of the amazing details, checking out the cool merchandise, and more. But now it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for…it’s time to EAT! While we’ve been having a whole slew of different snacks and items from Avengers Campus, right now we’re focusing on one veryyyyy special dish — the $100(!!!!!) sandwich from PYM Test Kitchen.
It’s finally the opening day of Avengers Campus, and if you know us here at DFB, we’re ready to test out the FOOD!

We’re headed to the main dining hub of this new land in California Adventure, PYM Test Kitchen. We’ll be chowing down throughout the day here, kicking things off with a BIG breakfast. (Seriously, Ant-Man would be proud of this feast!) Let’s dive right in!

Corn Dog Time!
Sure, we love those iconic snacks like Churros and Mickey beignets, but we’ve always been intrigued with those snacks that make people lose their minds, like the Pizza Bloody Mary or the Pickle Corn Dog.
This weekend marks the official beginning of summer, and yes, it’s really starting to feel like summer here at Disney World (it’s hot, y’all).
Trilo-Bites
And we’ve already started to indulge in some summery treats including a Watermelon Dole Whip, a Memorial Day cupcake, a 70’s-inspired cocktail, and ice cream from the new ice cream shop at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn! But we just found a new summertime treat today that actually TASTES like summer!
When it comes to over-the-top snacks, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs knows how to truly go OVER the top.
There’s a reason we keep going back to Everglazed…
And we’ve had some truly outrageous — and delightful — creations here. We have some seriously happy memories about trying our first Donut Grilled Cheese (don’t knock it until you try it), a donut that had a peep on it, and a coffee with tiny cookies IN it.
We’ve tried a lot of super interesting snacks at Disney World.
Vivoli il Gelato
We’re talking about fruity potato chips, a Bailey’s brownie sundae, fruit sushi, and more! But today, we tried TWO new snacks involving gelato, and one of them had a spider on it!
Prior to the closures in early 2020, Alfresco Tasting Terrace transitioned to an Annual Passholder-exclusive lounge at Disney California Adventure. This quaint outdoor dining spot situated above Wine Country Trattoria features a menu of small plates and unique cocktails inspired by the history of Disney California Adventure!

Now that Alfresco Tasting Terrace has officially reopened as a Legacy Passholder-exclusive dining location (with a brand-new menu), we stopped by to see what had changed since the closures!
