And while we’re busy getting you food reviews of EVERY SINGLE food booth, we’re also covering the merchandise, entertainment, and more while we’re there. But we just found out about something BEAUTIFUL coming to the festival this year.
Now that the holiday season is here (!!!) and travel restrictions are being lifted around the world, Disney World has been seeing longer lines and higher wait times. On our way into EPCOT today, we definitely felt the impacts of these changes. Take a look at the crowd level on this sunny Sunday!
A lot is happening around Walt Disney World as we gear up for the 50th Anniversary!
Decorations went up on Cinderella Castle, signs are getting painted, rides are getting refurbished, and so much more. Right now, work is in progress on the new lighting package coming to Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, and we got a sneak peek!
Everyday is a great day when you’re spending it in EPCOT! This park has gone through some major changes recently with all of that construction happening in Future World, and it even more has changed already since our last update from the park!
And with new offerings like Harmonious arriving this October along with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Space 220 also in the works, it constantly seems like there’s something NEW happening in the park. Let’s recap what’s new these days in the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
The EPCOT entrance area has already gotten some seriously MASSIVE upgrades.
First, there’s the new entrance fountain, which lights up beautifully. Then, we’ve got the new flags and the new entrance music. And not too long ago we got to see those incredible new lights all around the entrance area that make this spot truly SPECTACULAR at night. But, this whole area will soon be getting ANOTHER new addition!
We spent a wonderful day at EPCOT yesterday exploring the International Flower and Garden Festival.
Festival days are a BLAST and we certainly leave feeling very full and very happy. We saw a LOT of gorgeous views of EPCOT in bloom yesterday, not to mention the new lighting and flags in the Entrance Plaza. But, there’s one view that just might have been the best of the best.
EPCOT might be getting a little bit snazzier at night soon!
