It’s no secret that visiting Disney World can be expensive, and that’s even after you’ve paid for your hotel, tickets, and airfare.
Our favorite thing in Disney World, the FOOD, can also whittle down your budget, so we’re always doing our best to help you budget for food, as well as get the best deals on food while you’re visiting Disney World. Well, if you have plans to visit Disney Springs this summer, you can get a GREAT lunch for under $20 at Raglan Road.
Summertime is here, and with an all-new season, you may need some new essentials.
If you’re like us, you may have been watching for a new collection to drop online to fall in love with, maybe to treat yourself after a hard work week or for getting through the school year — whatever the reason, some GREAT new collections have just dropped online you don’t want to miss!
Disney World changing from FastPass to Genie+ to Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass has certainly been a trip, and we know how confusing it can all be when you’re planning a trip.
However, once you get the hang of it, you really can skip tons of lines during the day (depending on crowd levels and Lightning Lane availability, which often go hand in hand with each other), BUT we’re also the first ones to admit that in certain situations, Lightning Lanes is our complete and total enemy.
Summertime can be EXPENSIVE all around — especially for families.
When the kids are home from school, and parents are trying to find activities to keep them busy, those costs can add up. Not to mention, you may be doing WAY more grocery shopping than normal since kids are home all the time. If that’s the case, you’ll love hearing that ALDI, the store already known for low prices, has just slashed its prices even LOWER for summer!
Disney World, we need to have a word.
Now, we’ve already made it perfectly clear that we don’t like it when you take our favorite snacks away. We’re still waiting for some justice for the old waffles at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom. We do appreciate that you brought back the hush puppies at Columbia Harbour House, though. But now, well, we’re being forced to say goodbye to ANOTHER favorite treat in Disney’s Hollywood Studios…and we are NOT okay.
With everything going on in Magic Kingdom right now, it’s hard to keep up with progress.
Over in Frontierland, Disney is getting ready to permanently close Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island to start work on Piston Peak, a new Cars expansion. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently getting a massive refurbishment. In Tomorrowland, Astro Orbiter is getting put back together after a refurbishment. Meanwhile, another ride in Tomorrowland, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will close in August for a big refurbishment, and we now have a permit that hints at some of the work to be done at this attraction.
Hey, friends! We’re back with another DFB Video covering all the latest Disney news!

Rivers of America
We’ve got the official closing date for Tom Sawyer’s Island and the Rivers of America (and its not that far off in the future), we got a NEW concept art map of the new Cars area coming to Magic Kingdom (and its name!!!), the Spaceship Earth themed lounge GEO-82 is officially open for all guests and we are One. Step. Closer. To Test Track being open once again.
I go to Disney World for my job, and I’ve tried quite a few park bags over the years.
From big backpacks to small crossbody bags, I’ve definitely got some preferences. But a few styles in particular have stood the test of time for me. I’m sharing the bags that I swear by in Disney World!
BIG news, people! When one door closes, another one opens, and that’s exactly what’s happening over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Let’s start with the bad news: Muppets Courtyard is closed as of June 8th, 2025. The good news? The Muppets are heading over to a NEW location!

Muppet Courtyard
Where are the Muppets going? To Sunset Boulevard! The Muppets will be taking over the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction with new music, a new design, and lots of Muppet mayhem. Now, Disney just announced the CLOSING TIMELINE for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and it’s sooner than you might think.
