News: Full Menus Announced for the 2015 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic

While we’ve been focusing on all the excitement that Fall brings for Disney Food Fans, we have another fun event to update you about — the 2015 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic!

The two-night event, back by popular demand for the sixth year in a row, will once again take place over Halloween Weekend in 2015. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31!

The Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic is made up of two components: Seminars and the Causeway. Seminars center around learning more about food and beverage in a fun, interactive way. But guests stay and play for the evening on the Causeway!

If you’re new to the Food and Wine Classic, the Causeway is a collection of food and beverage booths set up in the walkway that links the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. Every single restaurant from both the Swan and Dolphin — all nine! — participate, and bring tapas-sized eats to the party. Chef Robert Ciborowski, the executive chef of the Swan and Dolphin Resort, also prepares some dishes in Cib’s Smoke Shop.

2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Premium Package Details

Last year, the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Premium Packages debuted at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival — and they were a big hit! For those interested in the 2015 Food and Wine Festival Premium Packages, they are indeed returning; however, it’s proving a little difficult to figure out what EXACTLY is included this year!

Please note: Details on this package are still emerging, and we expect to have more information very soon. In the meantime, be sure to call (407) WDW-FEST for further details and inquiries. 

So, through info from our readers as well as our own phone calls to 407-WDW-FEST we’re piecing together a few details for ya on this Premium Package for 2015. Note that all of this is subject to change, but we wanted to be sure you knew that the package is back so you can get on the horn and book it yourself before it sells out.

Here’s what we’ve got so far that’s pretty much confirmed:

– The price for the 2015 Premium Package is $199 per guest ($211.62 with tax included). Interested guests may call (407) WDW-FEST for details and to book.

Packages are available Monday through Thursday of each full week of the Festival, so interested guests will want to make sure their vacation dates correspond accordingly to receive the most value.

– Each Premium Package includes access to eleven designated Premium Package Areas throughout Epcot, offering concierge service (i.e. Cast Members will go purchase your booth items for you and bring them back to you in the Premium area) from 12:00 noon to 8 pm.

– Each Premium Package will also include one Amenity Bag (to be picked up at the Festival Center) including a bottle of 20th Anniversary Celebratory Winea wine glass, and one Festival-themed MagicBand. [Read more…]

Sneak Peek: 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

Wow! I anticipated that some of the merchandise for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival would be better-than-average, considering that 2015 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Festival. But I can’t say I was expecting all of this! Disney has provided a sneak peek at some of the items on tap for the celebration… and you may want to settle in, my friends, because there is LOTS of it.

I don’t even know where to start, so I guess I’ll just point out a few favorites. For instance, “Voila! You’ve got a (Chef) Figment” on the Chef Figment Mug and 20th Anniversary Ornament below! And you Dooney and Bourke fans out there will want to check out the bag on the bottom right (as well as a few other bags throughout the collection).

I’m also loving that Chef Mickey Appetizer Plate, too — it’s an example of one out of three different art programs that set the tone for the merchandise. Chefs Mickey and Figment make up one line, so you’ll spot them on several pieces throughout the images. [Read more…]

News! Three New Epcot Food and Wine Festival Events Exclusively for Chase Disney Visa Cardmembers

So, earlier today we brought Disney Chase Visa Cardmembers the good news that Cardholders are eligible for early booking for Special Events and Low-Cost Seminars and Demonstrations for the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival on July 28th.

Well, now we have even MORE good news for Cardmembers. It has just been announced that THREE unique events have been added to the Food and Wine Festival, and they are EXCLUSIVELY for Disney Chase Visa Cardmembers!

The special events include:

Brews, Breakfast and More

On September 28 from 8:30 – 10:30 am, guests at Brews, Breakfast, and More will enjoy a three-course breakfast utilizing beer as both an ingredient and a pairing, while learning about “beer styles and brewing processes that date back to ancient Babylon and Egypt.”

An element of the dishes will be the use of Passport 20 Belgian Tripel Ale, a “complex beer featuring 20 ingredients to celebrate 20 years” of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. This brew offers the distinction of including 11 ingredients to represent each one of the World Showcase countries along with one ingredient representing Florida. Among other courses, the menu will include Liquid-Nitrogen Fried “Smoking” S’mores.

Cost: $89 per guest (plus tax)

Chase Disney Visa Cardmembers will be able to book ALL Food and Wine Festival Events beginning at 7:00AM on Tuesday, July 28th. This includes Special Events such as the Party for the Senses and the brand new Rockin’ Burger Block Party as well as Low-Cost Seminars and Demonstrations.
