Big news, everybody! We now know MORE about the return of our beloved Disney World restaurants!
Disney World theme parks are set to begin a phased reopening on July 11th, but at the end of this month, signs of guest life will begin returning to Disney World. Disney Vacation Club Resorts and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will reopen on June 22nd. Now, Disney has released the list of ALL of the RESTAURANTS that will be opening that day!
Many dining experiences will be unavailable and the ones that are open will be modified with new health measures. Here’s everything that’s opening on June 22nd!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Contemporary Resort include:
- The Wave… of American Flavors page
- The Wave Lounge
- Contempo Café
- Cove Bar
We can’t wait to get back to those yummy cupcakes at Contempo Café, but we can’t say we’re not a little bummed that California Grill won’t be reopening at first!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge include:
Many of our favorite options are reopening at Wilderness Lodge! It will be nice to watch the sunset from Geyser Point Bar & Grill once more.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge include:
If you know us, you know we love Sanaa. Butter Chicken, here we come!
Want to see why we love Sanaa? Click here!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Beach Club Resort include:
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop just reopened from renovation a couple months prior to the closure, so returning guests will get to enjoy the newly-updated space.
For more info on the Beaches and Cream renovation, click here!
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn include:
- Trattoria al Forno (excluding Character Dining, which is temporarily unavailable)
- Pizza Window
- BoardWalk Bakery
- Leaping Horse Libations
- AbracadaBar
- Screen Door General Store
Keep in mind that most Character Dining options will not be returning when the parks reopen. So don’t expect to hang with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider at Trattoria al Forno’s Bon Voyage Breakfast.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground include:
You’ll notice that many buffet options, like Trail’s End Restaurant, will remain closed for the time being.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Old Key West Resort include:
Oh yeah, Key Lime Pie, we’re coming for you!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort include:
We had our fingers crossed for ‘Ohana since the meals are served family-style, but it looks like no dice! And, you can go ahead and scratch out the time you had planned to stand in line for Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. At least we can soothe our woes with some Dole Whip concoctions.
Dreaming of Dole Whip, click here!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Riviera Resort include:
- Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera (Note: Character Dining will be modified.)
- Primo Piatto
- Le Petit Café
- Bar Riva
Here’s a win: ALL of the dining options at the new Riviera Resort will be reopening! Topolino’s Terrace will even have their character dining — just with some changes.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort include:
You may not be sitting down at Turf Club Bar & Grill at Saratoga Springs, but you’ll still have your fair share of dining options.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
The reopening restaurants in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort include:
Of course, we’re excited to see that many of the dining locations are open at Grand Floridian, but it definitely makes us sad that none of the fancy table-service restaurants are opening. That means no 1900 Park Fare, no Narcoossee’s, no Citricos, and no Victoria & Albert’s initially.
There you have it! That’s all of the reopening options coming back to Disney World before the end of the month. As of right now, reservations aren’t open for these spots, but we’ll be sure to update when they are. We’ll keep an eye out for any changes to the list, too!

Jessica says
Any news on the afternoon tea at The Grand Floridian? That is something I have always wanted to do.
DFB Sarah says
Jessica, no word on this yet.
Joy says
Any idea on when we would be able to make reservations for these restaurants?
Mercy says
Hi! When will they start taking reservations for the end of June?
DFB Sarah says
Mercy, we suspect they’re working on a week-to-week basis right now, but hopefully the new reservation system will be up soon, and we’ll get more clarity on this.
DFB Sarah says
Joy, no word on this yet, but we’re checking regularly.
Rob C. says
Any word on how they are going to do buffets? I noticed they did not say one of my favorites restaurants Cape May cafe in the Beach Club. Hoping it will be open by late July.
Meg Huff says
Why no signature dining?
DFB Sarah says
Meg, no word on how or why they made their decisions. We’ll update if anything emerges!
DFB Sarah says
Rob C., no word on buffets yet. We’re watching for the info and will update if Disney shares information.
Lauren says
So are these going to be open to the general public, even if we aren’t staying in property nor do we have park tickets. My husband and I are driving in from the west coast of Florida for two days just to immerse ourselves in the Disney spirit and we are wondering if we will be allowed on property, aside from Disney Springs.
DFB Sarah says
Lauren, Disney has said anyone who wants to dine in a Disney Resort will need an Advance Dining Reservation. As long as you have a confirmed ADR, you should be okay to enter.
Mark W says
We are planning to be in Wdw area for three days. Do I need to make reservations from 60 days from day 1 or from each specific day?
DFB Sarah says
Mark, we don’t know this yet. When the new theme park reservation system goes live, we will find out and report.
Deborah Squires says
Thank you for all the updates.
Any word on when Coronado Springs and accompanying restaurants and bars will be open?
Christy says
Made reservations for Topolino Breakfast, Kona Café Dinner, and The Wave Dinner. Excited to see a ‘modified’ character experience. And, sad not to be at Ohana, but maybe Kona will give me something to feel like I am not missing out.
DFB Sarah says
Have fun, Christy! Hopefully you can get an ‘Ohana favorite or two at Kona.
DFB Sarah says
Deborah, Gran Destino will be opening for the NBA in July, but no word on the rest of the Resort or its restaurants. We will update once Disney releases that information.
LG says
If Ohana is not open, would it be safe to assume you could not get the Ohana room service meal if staying at the Poly?
DFB Sarah says
LG, I believe room service is suspended as well, so I think that’s a yes, it’s not available. If I learn differently, I’ll update.
Katie says
Is there a list like this for which quick service locations are open IN the parks? I know I’m park table service will not be running, but is it assumed that all quick service will be open?
DFB Sarah says
Katie, in-park Table Service will be available, but it will be by ADR only. We do not have the list of in-park restaurants that are confirmed to open yet, but we will update!
