It’s still January, but a LOT has already changed in Disney World in 2024.

Park pass reservations are no longer required for most Disney World visitors. All-day park hopping is back (no more waiting until 2PM). The Disney Dining Plan has made a return. We’re seeing a LOT of progress on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Well, ANOTHER attraction is about to change in Disney World and it could affect your upcoming plans in Magic Kingdom.
Is it just us or is January the longest month of the year? Okay, so we probably feel like that because so much has happened in Disney World this month.

In food news, we’re still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of the Disney Dining Plan now that it’s returned. We’re also on the lookout for all the upcoming Valentine’s Day treats. Plus it’s only the second week of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. But Disney World restaurants are continuing to change, so let’s take a look at what those changes were for the past week.
Okay, we get it — we know that Disney World is always updating and changing restaurant menus.

Sometimes, that means we can discover our NEW favorite foods, but it also means some of our favorite foods disappear, presumably gone forever. Yes, we get sad about it, and now Disney has gone and done it again because ANOTHER fave snack of ours is gone (give us a minute — we need to shed a tear in its honor).

First, Disney loves a good color trend and when everyone was all about Millennial Pink, we even had Millennial Pink snacks! Snacks in and of themselves can also be trendy, and we expect Disney’s newest snack merchandise is going to fly off shelves. Don’t get us started on how popular those Starbucks Tumblers are…they ALWAYS sell out. But we’re starting to see what might be a NEW food trend in Disney World.
Okay, what is it about Stitch that makes Disney just want to do really strange things with his merchandise?

Like we are STILL not over that demonic Stitch plush that came out a few years ago with the red eyes. That was the stuff of NIGHTMARES. There was also that Spaghetti Stitch merchandise that still has us scratching our heads. Then there was the Stitch/Cinderella Castle incident. Like…what? Well, here we go again — we just found another piece of Stitch merchandise that we can’t decide is cute or terrifying. Brace yourself.
As The Walt Disney Company prepares for the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, it not only announced its recommendations for 12 nominees for the company’s Board of Directors, but it also released information about its executives’ salaries, including the 2023 salary for CEO Bob Iger.

Iger returned to the company in November 2022 to step back into his role as CEO. Since then, he’s made a lot of changes, including changes in leadership, proposed changes for Disney Parks, and a new priority focused on improving Disney’s streaming assets. In 2023, Iger made $31.6 million, but let’s take a closer look at that.
