The Citizens of Hollywood have added incredible streetmosphere to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for years.
This group of entertainers interacts with guests and is known as one of the most unique entertainment options around the Disney theme parks. We just received news that some of the actors from Citizens of Hollywood have been laid off.
We’ve made quite a few trips out to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out the construction progress, and we were even able to run into our old friend, Coconut Man, what a joy!
We’ve seen quite a few construction signs, entrance changes, and more at the hotel, and recently we spotted another update!
Back at the beginning of October, Disneyland Paris implemented the Virtual Queue Disney Standby Pass.
Just over a week later, the Standby Pass system was temporarily paused in order to improve the experience for guests. And now, the Standby Pass has made it’s way to Disneyland Paris…again!
Yak and Yeti Restaurant is a a great go-to table service restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
And even though it’s been reopened along with Disney’s Animal Kingdom since mid-July and has a new menu, today we noticed a small but significant change to its kids’ menu!
Santa Claus makes his way all around the world every December, greeting little boys and girls and asking what they want for Christmas!
In fact, this holiday season, he’s making his way to Disneyland! Yes, the theme parks themselves may be closed down, but Santa is coming to Downtown Disney, Disneyland’s shopping and dining district!
It’s been over three months since Disney World reopened to the public after an extended closure. Over the past few months, Disney has been slowly reopening more resorts, restaurants, and experiences.
Most Disney restaurants have been limiting menus to adhere to the new safety regulations and shortages. We’ve been monitoring these changes while Disney adjusts to reopening under the new conditions. The Landscape of Flavors, Drop Off Pool Bar and Harambe Market are preparing to reopen. Meanwhile, the California Grill has been open for some time. All four menus have reflected changes on Disney World’s website recently.
All of the Disney theme parks around the world are open, except for those at Disneyland Resort.
Recently, California’s theme park reopening guidelines were released, but the guidelines only allow large theme parks, like Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, to reopen if the county they are located in reaches the lowest (yellow) of California’s tiers. We’ve been keeping an eye out for any more news from California’s Governor Newsom related to COVID-19 and theme park reopenings. Today, we got an update on more COVID-19 news as it relates to California, an update on the tier status for the county in which Disneyland is located, and more.
Ah Nomad Lounge, you just might be our favorite place to spend an Animal Kingdom afternoon.
We swung by this favorite spot today to see if there were any specials to try out and we got let in on a super-secret option — and it might not be an option for long!
