After weeks of back and forth between California theme parks and Governor Gavin Newsom’s office regarding safe reopening guidelines, we continue to see significant disagreements between the two regarding readiness.
Today, Governor Newsom noted in a press conference that there’s “no hurry” to put out guidelines, and “we’re going to be stubborn about it.” Newsom’s reasoning for this stubbornness is a focus on being “led by a health-first framework,” and “let[ting] science and data make that determination.”

Although we have no idea when Disneyland might reopen, Downtown Disney reopened this summer, and we’ve been enjoying all the food (hello, pumpkin spice churro!) and shopping there!
So when we found out about all the new Halloween treats popping up at Downtown Disney, we headed there to TRY THEM ALL!
The big news about Disneyland recently has been the back-and-forth between park executives and the California government over the terms of reopening.
Despite the fact that Disney has used several channels to call for the Governer’s office to release theme park reopening guidelines, the government has yet to do so. Yesterday, we learned that there’s no promise of a specific date for guidelines in the future, and now Governor Newsom has echoed those sentiments.
There’s just something special about Disney princesses! Not only do they dress fabulously, but they are also fierce, bold, and strong (and there’s a mug to prove it!)
So it’s no wonder that our little princesses love them, too! And we’ve just spotted the PERFECT dollhouse to make every little princess dreams come true!
October is officially here, and it’s not just the month we celebrate Halloween. It’s also Breast Cancer Awareness month, and a certain Disney Springs restaurant is giving us a way to pitch in while chowing down.
