Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge continues to be one of the most immersive lands ever created in a Disney park, transporting guests straight into the middle of a galaxy far, far away. From piloting the Millennium Falcon to sipping blue milk on Batuu, every detail of the land is designed to make visitors feel like they’ve stepped into a living Star Wars story. And now, Disney has announced another notable update that will bring fresh life to one of Galaxy’s Edge’s most iconic locations.

Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on May 31st, 2019, at Disneyland Resort, we’ve been exploring the entirely original planet of Batuu. Characters like the Mandalorian, Grogu, Rey, and Kylo Ren are certainly highlights — but Disney has just announced that some OG Star Wars characters are coming to the land later this year, and to say we’re freaking out is an understatement!

One of the most beloved benefits is the ability to access cardmember-only character meet and greet opportunities, and one popular Disneyland perk is getting a major update this April.

Disney is expanding the timeline for Galaxy’s Edge to include more Star Wars eras that will unlock the timeline in the biggest way yet. We’re talking new characters, updated stores, and what some people might consider the most exciting part — updated MUSIC (it’s us, we’re “some people”)!
This year marks the Year of the Fire Horse, and Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort will celebrate its arrival with the park’s annual Lunar New Year Festival!

From January 23rd through February 22nd, 2026, Disney California Adventure will ring in the Year of the Horse with additional cuisine and entertainment offerings (including special Disney Character sightings) and more! Disney just released the FULL MENUS for this exciting event, and our mouths are already watering!
TONS of new treats and drinks dropped in Disneyland last Thursday, January 8th! Of course, we stopped by to try some of the new offerings—like PINK milk!! Yes, there is now a third milk option in Galaxy’s Edge! Plus, we also grabbed a Sweet Heat Beignet Chicken Sandwich, Infinity Cream Puffs, and 9 other new food items. We also really wanted to try another new treat, but by the time we stopped by to grab it, it had already SOLD OUT.
Pink Milk
Cast Members said they didn’t anticipate its popularity, so they didn’t make many. We vowed to make our way back — earlier this time — as soon as we could. Well, we have some good news! We stopped by Disneyland this weekend, and we were able to secure this popular treat!

Magic Key Holders, who are the Annual Passholders of Disneyland Resort, can rejoice, because TWO new souvenirs are coming to the park that are exclusive to them. To celebrate Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary and Disney California Adventure’s 25th Anniversary, you won’t want to miss these new popcorn buckets!
One of our favorite “holidays” in Disneyland Resort at the start of each year is Anaheim Ducks Day, which is a whole day dedicated to the popular Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club.

This special event happens only one day each year, falling on February 22nd this year, and it’s a great way to experience special photo opportunities, check out exclusive merchandise, meet/see some of the players, and, of course, try out new snacks! Disney just released a sneak peek at three of the new snacks that will only be available during this special day, and we’re pretty pumped about all of them.
