New vaccination rules for cruises, mask rule changes at Disney World, and new guidelines for cruise lines have led to a LOT of COVID-related news lately.
Today, we’ve got a new update for you from the West Coast.
This is Halloween, this is Halloween…in Disneyland!
Disney has brought us new Halloween ears and lots of Halloween merchandise, and now Disneyland has added yet another pair of Halloween ears we need!
Disney just shared more details about their new Disney Genie service that will help guests plan their vacations.
The new service will feature things like forecasted future wait times and a personalized itinerary. It also will take over for the FastPass+ and MaxPass systems, and replace them with new paid services. Disney also announced that they are enhancing their Disability Access Service program.
We are learning a LOT about Disney Genie today and we’re EXTRA interested in Genie+, the PAID Fastpass+ and MaxPass replacement.
Genie+ will be the new offering in Disney World and Disneyland that lets guests skip the standby line and go straight into a Lightning Lane (AKA former FASTPASS queue) to access attractions. It’s the next generation of MaxPass as it is a paid offering, but how is it different from MaxPass? Let’s take a look.
Things have been picking up around Disneyland Resort since its reopening.
We finally got to witness the opening of Avengers Campus (and it did NOT disappoint), but we also have seen many Disneyland hotels and restaurants reopen! And today, we’re at another grand reopening!
With Disney After Hours BOO Bash in full swing at Magic Kingdom, we’re now setting our sights on the west coast as the Disneyland Resort prepares to kick off this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure!
Tickets have been on sale for this after-hours even for about a month now, and a very limited amount of tickets are still available!
Disneyland sure knows how to enhance their treats! We’ve seen shiny new popcorn buckets and over-the-top hot dogs before, but now we’ve spotted something new.
We visited Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream at Disney California Adventure Park recently, and we were ready to cool off with a sweet treat. While we were there, we found a fun, new way to hold our snack!
Greetings from the West Coast, DFBers!
We’ve been hanging around Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney, checking out all the new food, merchandise, and more. And we’re here with ALL the updates!
Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland’s Critter Country is a quick-service spot filled dishes based on American cuisine!
Although there are plenty of places to grab a snack like Dole Whip or an Alien Macaron, we found something we hadn’t tried on the menu. So we decided to stop by to try this counter-service restaurant’s latest treat…and we LOVED it!
Some time ago, the Mandara Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel closed its doors permanently. But, Disney announced that the new Tenaya Stone Spa would replace it.
The spa was originally set to debut in the Spring of 2020, but its opening was thereafter delayed. We’ve been waiting for quite some time to hear when this new spa would finally open and now we finally have a date!
