One of our favorite Disneyland Resort restaurants has been undergoing a lengthy refurbishment, but Disney has finally announced when it will be reopening!

Napa Rose will officially reopen on February 6th, 2026. This premium dining experience at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is one of the most upscale restaurants you can visit during a Disneyland trip, and soon, you’ll get the opportunity to do just that yet again!
Don’t look now, but the 2026 Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure is already here! We’re so excited to party, and we’re going to give you all the details on everything this festival has to offer you.

This year, the celebration will run from January 23rd through February 22nd. At least…that’s what we thought. We just went to Disney California Adventure, and the festival has started EARLY. So, we’re trying out all the food and drinks, checking out the entertainment, and taking a glance at the merchandise — and we’re taking you with us!

Sweethearts’ Nite is coming to Disneyland Park this year on January 22nd, 25th, and 27th, and February 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th, 12th, and 17th from 9 PM to 1 AM, and while they’re already sold out for the year, if you got your ticket, now we know what special snacks you can grab during the event!
Disneyland’s Star Wars area is getting a massive upgrade! Galaxy’s Edge is a Star Wars-themed land on both the East and West Coasts, and they’ve been very similar. You’ll explore Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu that the First Order has overtaken. You can meet Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers, ride the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca, and help Finn, Rey, and the Rebel Alliance take down the First Order. Both lands have been set during the sequel trilogy – until now!

While Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World will stay the same, the West Coast’s Disneyland area will be completely rethemed to be set during the original trilogy. This means new characters from “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi” will be roaming around the park. But how will these changes impact the characters currently in Galaxy’s Edge?

Beginning April 29th, Disney will officially expand Galaxy’s Edge’s once-strict timeline, allowing characters and storylines from multiple Star Wars eras to coexist in Batuu. That means familiar faces from the original trilogy, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and beyond will now appear together in the land, marking a major change from Disney’s previous insistence on keeping Galaxy’s Edge locked into a single point in the sequel trilogy timeline. So why the sudden change of heart? And why now? Let’s break down exactly what’s changing and what Disney really stands to gain from it.

There’s a lot going on at Disneyland right now. New rides and lands are being built, the resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and fans are flocking in from far and wide to experience everything Walt’s original theme park has to offer. In 2026, those offerings will expand to include several new restaurants — particularly in the Downtown Disney area! Some of these spots are already under construction with no official opening dates yet, but all signs point to a 2026 debut.
