Universal has been thinking BIG when it comes to theme parks, and it’s also thinking outside the box, or rather, outside Hollywood and Orlando for new theme parks. Sure, there’s Epic Universe, but that’s not the only thing Universal is working on.
Not only is there a horror experience coming to Las Vegas in August, but an all-new Universal theme park is coming to Texas in 2026, Universal Kids Resort. Now, Universal has dropped some details about the new theme park, but we recently drove by the new resort location and got some photos of its construction progress.
Something BIG…no, something EPIC…is happening at Universal Orlando. Epic Universe is opening TOMORROW, May 22nd, and ahead of that opening, the park is having a HUGE opening ceremony.
Now, we’ve already spent some time visiting Epic Universe and checking out all five lands, but we’re at the opening ceremony today where Universal is going ALL out to introduce its brand new theme park to the world. However, we didn’t expect to see what we saw at the ceremony because Universal brought in some surprise celebrities to welcome Epic Universe to the world! And, y’all — WE WERE THERE.
