And today, DFB’s Disneyland Correspondent, Heather, noticed that an all-new Haunted Mansion donut has come out to socialize. So, how does it taste and where can you get your own?

We’re in the final stretch to Halloween, but Disneyland isn’t slowing down when it comes to introducing new, spooky snacks! We brought you the scoop on all of the autumnal sweet treats available earlier this season, but now we’ve got two new goodies to add to the list. First up: the Halloween Gingerbread Man from Disneyland’s French Market. Picture a fluffy Gingerbread Man cookie… but dressed for Halloween. Catrina says he’s super soft and so delicious. We’ve also heard that he’s sold once in a while at the cart by Haunted Mansion. You can choose from green or orange icing.

Remember the Jumbo Pretzel with Beer Cheese that used to be available at Prince Eric’s Village Market? If you’ve been waiting for this giant snack to make a comeback, we have good news: the DFB team spotted the Jumbo Pretzel in Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom!

Review: Drinks and Bites at Animal Kingdom’s Restaurantosaurus Lounge!
Back in July, we told you about Animal Kingdom’s newest place to chill out: Restaurantosaurus Lounge. At the time, it was described as undergoing a three month trial period and had limited hours from 5PM to closing. But we loved the concept, particularly as indoor air conditioned places to rest our adventuring feet are always welcome in Walt Disney World’s largest park.

That said, as much as we love the concept, sticking a “lounge” in a corner of a counter service restaurant does not make for a relaxing retreat. We’ll give you our full thoughts at the end of this article, but first — some details… .

Review: Caramel Poison Apple Cupcake at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
We just showed off a few fun Halloween and fall-time treats unique to Walt Disney World a few days ago, and reviewed that yummy cinnamon pumpkin cupcake in Animal Kingdom as well! Now we’re headed over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to tackle another Halloween-y sweet treat — the Poison Apple Cupcake!
Let me just remind everyone that accepting a poison apple from some mean, scary witch in the forest is a bad idea. Really, a terrible one. Snow White taught us all a valuable lesson. But, accepting a poison apple cupcake from the lively cast members at Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, well, that’s a completely different story. Spoiler alert: It’s a really good idea. And a delicious one, too.

We LOOOOVE Wilderness Lodge. It’s like walking into a fall/winter day in a National Park Lodge every time I’m there…which is a nice mind trick when it’s still. so. freaking. hot. in Florida. Throw a Halloween-themed cupcake into the mix, and I’m game.
Treats with Character Coming to Disney World: Tinkerbell, Cheshire Cat, and More!
Remember the Peter Pan Float that came flying into Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom this summer? Well, looks like Peter has started a trend, because even more snacks based on beloved characters are coming to Magic Kingdom soon! Storybook Treats will soon be home to a Tinkerbell treat!

Starting November 1st, Tink’s Pixie-Dusted Cone will feature the same key lime soft serve as in the Peter Pan Float. It will be topped with white chocolate wings, and garnished with green cotton candy… oh, and Pixie Dust, too, of course!
Then, on November 7th, The Lunching Pad will serve up a new Space Ranger Slush! This Buzz-worthy slush will be layered with purple grape and green apple slush, complete with a green rock candy straw. [Read more…]
