Disney World is constantly changing, and 2026 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for Hollywood Studios.
Between a beloved ride getting a complete reimagining and a whole area of the park transforming into something brand new, you’re going to notice some big differences the next time you visit. If you thought Hollywood Studios couldn’t get more exciting after the additions of Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, just wait. Let’s break down the two major changes coming to the park in 2026.
In case you happened to miss it, our very own AJ Wolfe wrote a book, Disney Adults: Exploring (and Falling in Love with) a Magical Subculture — and it’s available now!!!
To celebrate, we’ve partnered with select Disney World restaurants in Disney Springs and EPCOT to create the Disney Adults Crawl. The crawl is bringing you four EXCLUSIVE limited-time drinks that will be available through August 31st. So you don’t have a lot of time to grab them, but we’re going to show you how!
You’ve probably seen the crowds at Disney World — the shoulder-to-shoulder Main Street mornings, the 25-minute wait for Dole Whip, the family in matching shirts who all cut across your path at the exact wrong time. But here’s the thing: I go to Disney World every day for my job, and I know the one secret to finding empty parks.
Ready? Here it is: go when it rains.
We recently stopped by Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try out a NEW arrival! While it may still feel like summer at Disney World, Halloween is in full swing, and this includes some new treats with fall flavors.
Over at Woody’s Lunch Box, you can find the iconic Lunch Box Tart! You can find a daily lunch box tart, and there is often a limited-time flavor to try out. A new flavor has arrived, and we had to give it a taste!
Magic Kingdom is changing faster than you can say “bibbidi bobbidi boo.”
Between major ride closures, brand-new experiences, and even permanent overhauls, it feels like the park is rewriting its playbook in real time. And if you’re planning a trip soon, you definitely don’t want to walk in unprepared. That’s why we’re breaking down the new “rules” you need to know to avoid confusion, disappointment, or just wasting time on things that aren’t even open anymore. Let’s get into it.
An iconic EPCOT attraction is now CLOSED!
Although the good news is that it will only be temporarily closed for refurbishment. However, if you are headed to EPCOT in the next couple of months, you won’t be able to take a slow-moving journey through time to thank the Phoenicians.
If you’re excited for the Food and Wine Festival, it’s time to get loud!

2025 Food and Wine Signs!
On August 28th, EPCOT will transform into its biggest festival of the year! We’ve gotten a glimpse at the festival’s full menus, new merchandise, and more. There’s one major sign that the park is about to kick off its next festival, and we couldn’t be more excited!
MagicBands can be confusing, and MagicBand+ adds a whole new layer of things to figure out.
A lot of people stress over their MagicBand+ batteries running out in the parks, but here’s the thing: you might not need to panic at all. We’ve been hearing a lot of guests talk about their bands “not working” when the lights and vibrations stop, but that’s not actually the case. Let’s go over what your MagicBand+ can and can’t do once the battery dies so you don’t get caught making this very common mistake.
There is SO much to do at Disney Springs, and you don’t even need a park ticket to enjoy all of the fun! From shopping and dining to live entertainment and performances, we think just about anyone can find something they love at Disney Springs. We particularly love the dining options, and we also love a good secret menu!
Luckily, we have just the place for you. One of our favorite restaurants at Disney Springs also has some special menu items. Tasty food and drinks are a winning combination!
