Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts are the fanciest (and usually the most expensive) hotels on property. We recently took you on a tour of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, which is located very close to Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT Area Hotels
Now we’re heading to the EPCOT area to tour another Deluxe hotel over there. There’s actually a pair of fancy hotels right next to each other, and Disney calls them “sister hotels.” Today, we’re taking a look at the “fun” sister in this pair, although you’ll probably agree with us that it still looks like a very upscale experience. The Disney Parks have a rich and interesting history. Walt Disney Imagineering is the part of the Walt Disney Company that develops and builds the Disney theme parks. The Imagineers are an incredible creative force, and we have them to thank for how amazing and detailed the Disney parks are.

Women have often played an integral role in Imagineering, one example being Leota Toombs, the Imagineer who was also the face actress for Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion! The Disney Parks would not be what they are without these incredible women, and now you can read all about them!

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, hit water for the first time EVER today, and we’re happy to report that it floats! We’re not boat experts, but we know that’s a pretty essential part of sailing. Although the ‘Wish’ had to delay its maiden voyage, the ship is currently taking reservations, and hitting the water is another milestone in its opening. [Read more…]

That’s how we felt when we found this dessert at Walt Disney World’s All-Star Music Resort. We all know Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and there are tons of pink and red treats to stuff your face with at the parks. We tried this incredible chocolate cupcake, a twist on one of our favorite Hollywood Studios desserts, a wedding ring cake, and more! However, nothing could have prepared us for the Mickey and Minnie Waffle Bouquet. You read that right. A bouquet. Of Mickey waffles.

Swan Reserve
The Swan Reserve is one of the newest hotels in Disney World, and it’s not like any other hotel. The hotel can serve as a wedding venue, and on the top floor of the Swan Reserve is an event space called VUE, where the views are absolutely incredible. We were invited to attend a wedding showcase to find out what a Swan Reserve wedding would be like, and here’s what we experienced!
