It’s time to celebrate Disney California Adventure! The second theme park at Disneyland Resort is turning 25 years old, and yes, we feel ancient thinking about it.

Disney is celebrating as only they know how! With limited time snacks, merchandise, and, of course, a popcorn bucket! We can already tell this new souvenir will be POPULAR, so let’s check it out together.
Ever since January 16th rolled around, we’ve been enjoying EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts! The festival is in full swing and will continue through February 23rd. We’ve really enjoyed diving into all the art, snacks, entertainment, events, and more.

2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
Just when we thought the festival couldn’t get any better, an exciting announcement was made about a special surprise arriving at the park, or should we say a special guest! Well, that special guest has now arrived, and we’re spilling all the details.
Let’s face it: 2026 is a BIG year for Disney World, so it was obvious some other things would have to change. Now, we’re not talking about all the BIG construction changes happening in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, although those will, no doubt, affect your 2026 Disney World trip.
No, we’re talking about changes with some of Disney World’s rules, things that you need to be aware of if you’re visiting Disney World this year. These rule changes are probably necessary to keep things running as smoothly as possible and to make sure you have the best trip you possibly can have, amid all the chaos and construction. So let’s talk about them.
For those who live in the Orlando area, or for those who have a car when they’re visiting Disney World, you’ve probably dealt with the stress of what is parking at Orlando International Airport.
Now, parking at the airport can often be quite a hassle, and finding spaces can sometimes prove to be downright challenging. However, the airport has committed to making parking better for visitors, thanks to a new $10 million project. Well, we’ve got an update on that project, and it’s coming to fruition sooner than you may think.
Royal Caribbean confirmed it will build a new class of ships! The cruise line announced on January 29th that it had reached a series of agreements with Chantier de l’Atlantique (CdA) shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, to build its highly anticipated Discovery Class ships.
Royal Caribbean stated that its Discovery Class ships will “redefine how Royal’s guests experience the world.” The agreement is for two firm ship orders, with the option for up to four additional ships. The first ship is expected to debut in 2029, with the second scheduled for delivery in 2032.
Disney World is changing a LOT these days. Magic Kingdom is getting a major park expansion, Hollywood Studios is adding two new lands, and Animal Kingdom is saying goodbye to DinoLand.

Harambe Market!
Animal Kingdom’s land closure means we’re saying goodbye to Dr. Seeker and our beloved Iguanadon. It also means we’re saying goodbye to Restaurantosaurus, but luckily, another quick service is reopening early to take its place!
The Anaheim Transportation Network is closing on March 31st, 2026. The ANT shuttles 8 million riders a year between resorts and tourist areas in Anaheim, California. ANT’s governing board will “conduct an orderly wind-down” until operations cease this March, per the Orange County Register.
The ATN has services to the ARTIC station, Platinum Triangle, downtown Anaheim, and Anaheim Canyon Metrolink Station. Its most notable route is the ART Bus, which serves Disneyland‘s park, hotels, and resort areas. Anaheim city officials have said that the ATN’s bus lines are critical for local tourism – but the city doesn’t have the funding.
Magic Kingdom’s massive expansion is finally coming to life! Villains Land and Piston Peak were first announced in 2024 at the D23 Expo, and we’ve been patiently awaiting updates ever since.

Construction is underway for both lands, which means the park has lots of construction walls right now. Now, a new document reveals more of what we can expect from Maleficent and Lightning McQueen!
A lot of really exciting things are happening in Disney World right now. Magic Kingdom is getting a new land AND a Frontierland expansion. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a reimagined area and a new land. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a new land, and Disney has made a lot of progress on bringing that new land, Pueblo Esperanza, to life.
The new land takes inspiration from the Tropical Americas and will feature the first ever Encanto ride, as well as a brand new Indiana Jones ride, among other things. There will also be a playground. Well, thanks to a permit Disney recently filed, we now know the layout of Pueblo Esperanza, as well as some new details about the new playground.
