We are just a few short weeks away from Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

In preparation for the 18 month-long event, Disney World has introduced new fireworks shows, spruced up Cinderella Castle, announced special character costumes, special merchandise, and more. On top of all of this, Disney is adding 50 interactive GOLDEN character statues to the parks. All 50 statues have been announced and now the first 50th anniversary statues have been spotted in Magic Kingdom.

The MAJOR celebrations kick off on October 1st with new decorations, new looks for our favorite Disney pals, and of course, NEW FIREWORKS. Not only will Harmonious be debuting in EPCOT, but Magic Kingdom will get the brand new Disney Enchantment nighttime spectacular!

On October 1st, we’ll get to experience all kinds of things as the festivities begin. There will be new fireworks shows, a new daytime show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the release of new merchandise, new costumes for some of our favorite characters, and MORE! We’ve already seen lots of 50th Anniversary merchandise released and heard exciting details about the new things coming to the parks. Whether you’ll be heading to the parks or celebrating from home, there are lots of ways to participate in the festivities. Can you believe that we’re less than a month away before the beginning of Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration?
Earidescence is everywhere!
And, as a result, we’re seeing EVERYTHING at Disney World get a makeover. Cinderella Castle got a new paint job and some beautiful new decor. Fantasyland got some extra golden touches. Even the clock on Main Street, U.S.A. got a gold glow-up!
