It’s been quite a year for change. Disney World is going through a ton of changes, with whole theme park lands going away, new lands arriving, new shows, and so much more.

The airport announced it is getting new restaurants, continuing its expansion of Terminal C, improving parking, and more. One of our favorite airlines, though, is also undergoing some BIG changes, and in just over two months, EVERYTHING will be totally different if you’re flying on Southwest. Yeah, we know. That’s a BIG bummer, especially if you’re visiting Disney World this year. However, this is the first big refurbishment that the Magic Kingdom ride has had in a while, so Disney obviously has big plans for updating it a bit. Now, we’ve already noticed quite a bit of work happening on the ride, and we even have a hint of when we think it might reopen in 2026, but what will have changed with the ride then? Well, it turns out the answer to that is…A LOT.

The EPCOT transformation finally came to an end, while Magic Kingdom is about to go through a massive expansion. Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a new Monsters, Inc. land, while Dinoland, U.S.A. is closing in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to make way for Pueblo Esperanza. Disney Springs has seen some changes recently, too, and the newest map is proof of just how much the shopping and dining district has changed.
