Pym Test Kitchen is the place to go if you’re an adventurous eater.
Besides dishes that take inspiration from the Ant-Man films and play with size, you can also dine on eccentric eats you won’t find anywhere else in Disneyland. Tried their whole menu? It’s time to head back because they just added a new dish!
In fairy tales, Goldilocks may have been the one eating all the porridge, but this restaurant is ⚠️for hungry bears only!⚠️
2023 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company, and Disneyland is celebrating in a BIG way with new nighttime shows, all kinds of collectibles, and (of course) LOTS of food! You can take a FULL look at all of the 100th Anniversary treats in Disneyland here, but right now we’re testing out the new eats at Hungry Bear Restaurant. Will this meal end up being just right? Are you booking a Disney Cruise soon? You’ve come to the right place!
Depending on where you are in the cruise planning process, you might already know that most of the food on the ship is included in the price of your stay, which means you get to eat a LOT. There are three different restaurants that rotate during your stay, and there are also specialty restaurants you can book at an extra cost. We were recently invited to cruise onboard the Disney Dream, and we’ve got a restaurant review just for you!
If you’re looking for a rich meal filled with French and Italian-inspired cuisine, look no further than Topolino’s Terrace in Disney World.
Located on the rooftop of Disney’s Riviera Resort, this restaurant features decadent seafood, meats, handmade pasta, and more, and you can enjoy sweeping views along with your incredible meal. And for a limited time, Disney is adding new seasonal dishes to the menu!
Let’s talk about the most important meal of the day: DINNER. We know, most people consider breakfast to be the most important meal of the day, but can you eat mozzarella sticks for breakfast?? We don’t think so (well, unless you make them at yourself, then more power to ya)!
There are SOOOO many places that you can eat dinner in Disney World, from the parks to the resorts to Disney Springs, from Table Service to Quick Service. It’s hard to keep up with all of the options available, but luckily, we’ve narrowed down the very BEST places to eat dinner in Disney World! Now, we’re going to focus only on Table Service restaurants on this go around, because dinner is traditionally looked at as more like a sit down meal. Let’s dive in!
Recently, character interactions at Disney FINALLY began returning to normal.
Since the parks reopened after the 2020 closures, the COVID-19 protocol has made getting close to ANY Disney characters all but impossible (unless you love Star Wars and have deep pockets!) Today we’ve been DELIGHTED to see the return of hugs, autographs, & personal connections with the characters. Now, we’re hitting another HUGE milestone on the road back to “normal,” because traditional character dining is BACK!
Around here, we LOVE Disney World restaurants! This is the Disney FOOD Blog after all. But if we’re being real, some Disney World restaurants are just better than others.
Nowhere is this sentiment made more obvious than Yelp. While certain Disney World restaurants have their detractors, others are BELOVED, including the top-rated Table Service spots in Animal Kingdom! But, instead of sharing reviews for Animal Kingdom, most have ranked Animal Kingdom Lodge spots instead.
We’d like to address the elephant in the room (maybe it’s not really an elephant in the room ’cause people are talking about it more than they talk about Bruno, but anyway). Yes, there is blue shrimp in space (apparently). Yes, we ate it. Yes, it is as…unique…as it looks. But here’s what you need to know about the food during your second dinner at Disney World’s Star Wars Hotel — it’s not just all about the blue shrimp.
We recently got to take a special media trip on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel), and the entire experience will open to all guests soon. We’ve been sharing a FULL look at our time there (the good, the confusing, and the delicious) and now we’re giving you a complete guide to dinner on the Star Wars Hotel on night 2. Dinner on night 2 has different offerings than night 1, making it a unique experience. So just what should you expect from night 2 dinner? What items are a must-try and which might you not want seconds of? And, we’ve got to answer it — WHAT ABOUT THAT BLUE SHRIMP?! We’ve got all the details here for you!
What? You mean BRIGHT green dumplings, Bantha Beef(?!), and fluffy, green rice aren’t something you serve at dinner every day? Oh, well, in that case, you’re in for a TREAT, our dear earthlings.
We’ve experienced our first day onboard the Galactic Starcruiser, AKA Disney World’s new Star Wars hotel. We’ve gotten some training on the Halcyon’s defense systems, spent some time exploring this new “ship,” and maybe even saved a Wookiee! Now it’s time to head into the Crown of Corellia Dining Room for our first dinner onboard the ship! We’ve heard a little bit about the food at the Star Wars hotel already, so we’re eager to see if the dishes really live up to our expectations. There are Star Wars-themed cocktails, and all kinds of unique entrées. So which items are out-of-this-world, and which should have stayed on their home planets? Let’s find out! [Read more…]
