There are so many things at Disney that are considered “iconic,” and among those are the Cast Members.

For decades now, Cast Members at both Disneyland and Disney World have donned an equally iconic name tag. After all, it’s gotta be pretty cool to show off that you work for Mickey Mouse! Now, there’s a new update coming for Cast Members to celebrate the company’s 100th Anniversary.
Going to Disney World is very expensive (and not getting any cheaper), and it can be tricky to plan everything just right so that you’re able to do all you want to in the parks. So why do people keep going back?

One of the main reasons that people return to Disney World again and again is the memories they have and continue to make when they visit. Meeting Mickey Mouse and the princesses, riding thrilling roller coasters, eating a Mickey ice cream bar while watching a parade — all of these can become core memories that inspire nostalgia later on. Disney World is constantly changing!

Sometimes we see those changes coming and sometimes we don’t. Last month, a few things definitely caught us off guard. Here are the three most unexpected things that happened in Disney World in August!
We’ve been waiting for what feels like FOREVER for Fantasmic! to return to Hollywood Studios in Disney World.

We’ve kept an eye on construction, and Disney even said the show would be returning, but they didn’t give us any update on when that could possibly be except for saying that it would happen in 2022. We also found out that NEW things would be coming to the show when it returns, and now, we FINALLY might see the reopening of the show SOON!
It’s no secret that we love Disney Cast Members!
Disneyland
We love when Cast Members give us fun facts, or when we can see them in unique costumes we usually don’t see. But we REALLY love to see them celebrated for how amazing they are! If you’re traveling to Disneyland anytime in the future, giving Cast Members compliments is now much easier!
We already know that Disney World is BIGGER than Disneyland…but is it BETTER? There’s actually a lot that we prefer about Disneyland Resort to Walt Disney World Resort. You can find Avenger’s Campus there, with a whole lot of cool characters. Some classic attractions are still available here that aren’t in Disney World (we’re lookin’ at you, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride). And can you get a GIANT Mozzarella Stick anywhere in Magic Kingdom? We didn’t think so.
Disneyland
However, Disney World still has some pretty awesome things that Disneyland is missing. The OG version of Tower of Terror is there, and eating around the world in EPCOT is one of our all-time favorite activities. So now that we’ve established that the parks are definitely not the same, let’s dive into something else that’s different about them: the GUESTS.

Every Disney World resort has its own distinct theme, which is half the fun of staying at all the different hotels! There’s the coastal-chic atmosphere of Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, the New Orleans-inspired Port Orleans Resorts, and the sporty design of All-Star Sports Resort, to name a few.
