Welcome, adventurers! We’re back with another What’s New at Animal Kingdom.
We have a lot to show you — including colorful frozen drinks, more unique windbreakers, animation experiences, and more — so let’s get started!
It’s time for another What’s New in Disney Springs, everybody, and we have so much to tell you about! New menus, Minnie Ears Ornaments, and The Lion King lattes are just the beginning of our list. Let’s dive right in to see what Disney Springs has to offer!
The Lion King
had its opening premier in theaters this weekend, and there’s no better way of celebrating than with a few themed treats!
At Wolfgang Puck‘s quick-service window, we spotted the adorable sugar Lion Paw Cookie for $5 and the Grub Jar for $7.50. Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba would definitely approve (except they’d want more bugs in their Grub Jars)!
Speaking of the King of the Jungle, the Lion’s Latte is now steaming over at Joffrey’s Coffee in Disney Springs. We previously saw the hot or iced coffee blended with espresso, white chocolate, and coconut in Animal Kingdom, but it’s now journeyed into other Disney horizons. [Read more…]
So, Paddlefish in Disney Springs has been wowing us with innovative mixology from the beginning! Remember that crazy Halloween cocktail where you actually put charcoal in it? And Paddlefish was the first to debut a version of boozy popsicles (yes pls!).
Well they’re at it again on the mixology beat, my friends, with a new way to whet your whistle this weekend!!
Ready for an out-of-this-world experience?? We’ve tried a fun new secret menu cocktail that we had to share!
And this one is WAY more fun than you’d expect!

Ahhh, the infamous Beverly soda. You know the one — it’s the bitter soda from Italy that’s located in Club Cool in Epcot’s Future World at Walt Disney World. The one you trick your friends into drinking as you photograph their reactions for posterity. Yeah, that Beverly.
Beverly used to be found only in Epcot’s Future World, but when the Coca-Cola Store Orlando opened in Disney Springs a few years ago, they brought the Beverly with them. [Read more…]

from Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! (That’s a local greeting. 🙂 ) Today we have a NEW (well…kinda) cocktail for you from the Valley of Mo’ara!
Re-introducing the Mo’ara Margarita! But what do we mean by reintroducing? Let us explain…

Well this one is interesting! Orange and vanilla soft serve with…sparkling apple cider?! Yep, that’s what we found today at Magic Kingdom’s Sunshine Tree Terrace under the fun moniker “FOMOsa!”
For those who don’t know, FOMO stands for “Fear of Missing Out,” and Disney’s hoping that when you see someone walking by with this champagne flute full of goodness, you’ll definitely experience some serious FOMO!
So, if you pull up a bar stool at the Dawa Bar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom (as you should), and you order a new Ngumu specialty cocktail, can you guess what you’ll receive?
You’ll be getting JUNGLE JUICE, spiked with Meyer’s Dark Rum: it’s the new Ngumu Jungle Juice!
Now, you may know Jungle Juice — served around Animal Kingdom and also Animal Kingdom Lodge in spots like Boma — by one or more of its other names. It’s know as Moonshine for breakfast at Trail’s End, and Liliko’i Juice at ‘Ohana’s Best Friend’s Breakfast and Kona Cafe. Of course, it’s also known as POG Juice at those locations, which stand for the ingredients used in the drink no matter the name: Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava juices! [Read more…]

Since Pandora — The World of AVATAR opened last year in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we’ve been watching the treats at the land’s beverage and snack stand, Pongu Pongu.
Pongu Pongu’s signature snack, Pongu Lumpia, is a pineapple and cream cheese-filled spring roll. It’s been a love/hate snack since some people don’t like the texture — but I think it’s great! But something that does tend to be a big favorite among many is the Night Blossom. This frozen beverage layers apple with desert pear and limeade and is topped with passion fruit popping pearls.
They keep trying to convince me that the Pandoran Sunrise at Satu’li Canteen is Pandora’s signature drink. But, trust me. It’s totally the Night Blossom.
It’s bright and beautiful, both in color and flavor, and we’ve recommended it from the first as one of the best non-alcoholic drink options not only in Animal Kingdom, but in the whole of Disney World.
Wait… did I say “non-alcoholic”? Yes I did… because it is. But NOW, you can also order up a RUM BLOSSOM, which adds Bacardi Superior Rum to the drink!
