Well, folks, October 11th has been an eventful (and slightly annoying) day for Disney fans everywhere, as we received a LOT of news regarding the Disney Parks.
While we did receive the good news that Park Hopping restrictions will be lifted on January 9th, we were also met with price increase, after price increase, after price increase. We see many price changes take place year after year, but these increases just hurt our soul a little extra. Many of these increases were spotted on restaurant menus across the resorts in general. Now, we’re here to focus on the price increases spotted on the menus of hotel restaurants at Disney World. Let’s go!
A NEW restaurant is coming to Disney World soon!
EET by Maneet Chauhan is opening in Disney Springs later this year, and we can’t WAIT to taste a bunch of new and delicious menu items. Disney hasn’t revealed a ton about this spot, but now we finally have two MAJOR updates! [Read more…]
Sometimes Mondays can be really rough, even for Disney World. Today, we spotted one restaurant in particular that was seriously struggling.
We’ve seen restaurants and rides having rough days in this park before — Casey’s Corner was unexpectedly closed for a while a couple of weeks ago, and Space Mountain went down for HOURS earlier in September. Now, a popular spot in Frontierland has a case of the Mondays. [Read more…]
“What do you want for dinner?” It’s a seemingly mundane and innocent question, but if you’re like us, you know just how difficult that decision really can be. Here’s the thing: It only gets WORSE when you’re at Disney World!
In Disney’s Hollywood Studios alone, there are THIRTY restaurants. How in the world are you supposed to decide where to eat?? Luckily, we’ve been to every single one of them several times and tried a ton of the menu items at each one, so we can tell you exactly which ones are worth your time, stomach space, and money. One of the most important parts of your Disney World trip (in our opinion) is what you choose to eat! There are lots of great options for snacks and meals in the parks, but there are also some less-than-stellar eats to watch out for.
We’re in Disney World every single day, and we’ve tried just about everything there is to eat there. We’re here to help you find the best possible food, drinks, and snacks! Come along with us to see the best places to eat in Disney World. [Read more…]
EPCOT‘s new restaurant is officially open!
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya has opened its doors and wowed us with its commitment to theme, delicious food, and stunning views. A few details really stood out to us when we stopped by to check it out, and it had us thinking — a few Disney restaurants could really learn a thing or two from this new restaurant concept!
For those of you who love Disney World and love the FOOD that you can get at Disney World, it’s a really exciting time!
The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) will return on January 9th, 2024, for those staying at Disney World hotels. Not only this, but Park Pass Reservations will no longer be required for most guests after this date. We expect these two things to make snagging reservations at fan-favorite dining locations harder. For most popular restaurants across Disney World property, Disney requires Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), which can be made up to 60 days in advance of your visit. Some of these restaurants will SERIOUSLY require you to wake up at 6AM on the 60-day mark to select your dining locations, or else your chances of grabbing a reservation are slim to none. If you’re wondering which restaurants you should be on your A-game in order to grab, then keep reading.
Oh, Mickey Waffles, how we love you.
Whether we are grabbing them at our hotel before we head to the parks, or using them to create the ultimate food hack, Mickey Waffles are a staple on a Disney World trip. So, when I heard about the perfect twist on this Disney food classic, I had to check it out. Come with me to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to review breakfast at Rix Sports Bar and Grill!
There are several new restaurants opening this year in Disney World, including The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk and Summer House on the Lake in Disney Springs.
Those are likely going to open in a few months, but there’s one new EPCOT restaurant that’s opening THIS WEEK! [Read more…]
