We asked our team about the best drinks you can get around World Showcase and put together the ultimate World Showcase Drink Crawl!
Maybe it’s not such a big secret that we love Disney snacks — lots and LOTS of Disney snacks.
We’ve already put ourselves through the torturous decisions of ranking the Magic Kingdom lands by snacks AND ranking the lands in Animal Kingdom by their snacks. Whew. Well, we’re suckers for a little decisive turmoil so WE’RE BACK to ranking lands by snacks. This time, we’re examining Epcot’s World Showcase — arguably one of the snackiest spots in all of Disney World! WHICH PAVILION’S SNACKS WILL REIGN SUPREME?
Yep — drinks can be iconic, too, and this one is imperative for every in-the-know Disney drinker.
This week’s #OnTheList item has become one of the must have drinks year-round at Epcot. It is the perfect choice when you want to have a yummy drink and be able to cool down at the same time: the Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France!
Bonjour, Mes Amis! We’ve got a new review of Chefs de France in Epcot’s France Pavilion coming up for you soon; and to whet your appetite we’re taking a look at some of our favorite finds in the pavilion through the lenses of our savvy readers who post on our Flickr page, the Disney Food Photo Extravaganza!
Grand Marnier Slush
Can you walk through Epcot’s France Pavilion without sampling one (or both!) of those delicious grown up slushes? We can’t either! Is your favorite the Grand Marnier Orange, captured below by DFB reader Mandy Jansen? Or do you prefer the Grey Goose Lemon variety? Both are winners in my book!

When you’re strolling the streets of Paris, you simply must stop at one of the city’s many stands and get yourself a fresh, made-to-order crepe. Fortunately, Disney has their very own crepe stand, serving up [Read more…]
We here at DFB we welcome and embrace our fellow Disney Food Lovers!
But sometimes you might not necessarily know when you’ve joined our ranks! So we’ve created this simple list of ways to recognize when you’ve crossed over to the dark side. 😉
Do you fit any of these criteria? I can’t wait to hear from you about what your Disney Food Fan qualifications might be!
Let us know in the comments below what makes YOU a TRUE Disney Food Fan!
Here are a few of our favorites…
1. “No Be Our Guest reservation available? Time to change our flights.”
Yes. It happens. And don’t pretend you haven’t thought about it.
2. Your favorite t-shirt says “I ❤ School Bread“.
Yes. Yes it does.
3. Your “friends” who don’t know what a Citrus Swirl is have now been downgraded to acquaintances.
4. You have been known to enjoy both the Grand Marnier Slush and the Grey Goose Slush…at the same time.
5. Rides? What rides?

I get lots of emails and questions about the food I personally love in Disney World, and today I’m sharing some of my favorite Disney Food Kiosks!
You know the ones — those cute little structures that are almost restaurants, but not quite? Here are a few of the BIGGEST TASTES you can get at the smallest places in Disney World! 🙂
I hope you’ll share some of your favorites in the comments, too!
There is no way I could have a list of favorite kiosks without putting Magic Kingdom’s Aloha Isle right up front! The welcoming little stand, located in Adventureland, is home to one of Disney’s most beloved treats, after all.
That’s right — we’re talking Dole Whips!
As for me, I prefer about one visit to Aloha Isle for each day I’m at Disney. 🙂 No kidding, even though I’m usually eating non-stop on every Disney trip, this is one snack I never skip.
Fife and Drum
At the midway point while you’re walking around Epcot’s World Showcase, you’ll encounter another of our favorite stops, Fife and Drum.
This unassuming little stand looks like just another drink stop, but be sure to swing by and check out the menu for some seriously fun eats. Fife and Drum is home to some items you won’t find anyplace else! But there are not-to-be missed classics here as well, like the cult favorite Smoked Turkey Legs.
If you’re a pretzel fan, you have three different varieties to choose from. The stuffed Jalapeno Cheese Pretzel has a great spicy kick! And you’ll also find the sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel (decadent!) and the Mickey Soft Pretzel (cute!) here, too. This is one of the few places in Disney World to find all of these kinds of pretzels sold in one spot.
UPDATE: Please note, you can still find all these pretzels in the American Adventure Pavilion; however, they are now located at the Block and Hans Craft Beer kiosk.
There are also some amazingly tasty drinks here as well. We’ve told you about the Jim Beam Red Stag Lemonade, a wonderful little frozen drink with a punch, thanks to black cherry-flavored bourbon.
You can get your root beer float fix here, too, made with vanilla soft serve.
Thanks to all who have contributed their photos to the Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza! Keep on sending ’em! The Disney Food Pics of the Week feature adult beverages! Slàinte!
Don’t get me wrong, I love slush puppies and slurpees as much as the next kid-at-heart, but sometimes ya just need a little vodka.
Disney has been wowing guests for years with two citrus-y, slushie concoctions that you need to be above 21 to order; and at this time of year they a third to the mix — only in town for a limited time — that might just top the other two…
Grand Marnier Orange Slush and Grey Goose Citron/Lemon Slush
The Grand Marnier Slush and the Grey Goose Slush sit side by side in Epcot’s France pavilion at a little outdoor champagne kiosk across from Les Chefs de France.
Nothing about the slush machines swirling those orange and yellow mixtures would tip newcomers off to the fact that these two drinks are some of the most highly-recommended and beloved signature cocktails in Walt Disney World, but every once in a while [Read more…]
