food IS a theme park
Hello to all our DFB friends! It’s a lovely day for a walk around EPCOT, isn’t it?
We have found LOADS of new stuff, so let’s dive right in! [Read more…]
We’ve been exploring the sights, sounds, and tastes of a newly reopened Walt Disney World!
There have been quite a few changes to the Disney World dining experience. Tables are spaced out, mobile ordering is highly encouraged, and characters have adjusted the way they interact with guests. When we heard California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was reopening, we just had to head over on opening day and see what is different and what remains the same. Oh yeah, and we ate our way through a TON of food and drinks too!
Maybe it’s not such a big secret that we love Disney snacks — lots and LOTS of Disney snacks.
We’ve already put ourselves through the torturous decisions of ranking the Magic Kingdom lands by snacks AND ranking the lands in Animal Kingdom by their snacks. Whew. Well, we’re suckers for a little decisive turmoil so WE’RE BACK to ranking lands by snacks. This time, we’re examining Epcot’s World Showcase — arguably one of the snackiest spots in all of Disney World! WHICH PAVILION’S SNACKS WILL REIGN SUPREME?
Since we’ve been staying at home, we’ve been baking up a LOT of Disney recipes (and wearing our stretchy pants while we’re doing it, obviously).
And, although there are plenty of great Disney+ shows to watch and DIY activities to do, it’s okay to feel a little anxious about everything going on right now. Buuut, we’ve got some fun ways to help blow off that steam.
What we wouldn’t give right now to have some corn dog nuggets or a bag of Mickey beignets! We aren’t gonna lie, Disney snack withdrawals are hitting us hard right now. So much so that we’ve been hosting an entire ‘March Madness’ tournament to let some of our favorite snacks duke it out for the ultimate snack prize.
In addition to being able to re-create some of our favorite Disney snacks at home, we’ve discovered a few places that actually sell some snacks that sure taste like the real thing! Next time you’re out making your weekly grocery trip, check to see if you can grab some of these items! Then listen to some theme park music while you munch on these yummy treats, close your eyes, and maybe it’ll feel like you’re back in the parks!
Sonoma Terrace is getting in on the action this year at the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival!
While this lounge normally serves PLENTY of drinks and a few bar snacks, we’re trying out some mainstays and the new selections, which will be served from February 28 until April 21, 2020, to celebrate all things food and wine!
Thanks to the opening of Gran Destino Tower, there are now more dining options than ever at Disney’s Coronado Springs!
Today, we’re kicking it old school and headed to dine at an often overlooked Table Service spot that’s been serving up guests for years.
We’ve got an update for you from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!
We found some new food and merchandise options that we think you guys are going to love, focusing on our two favorite mice. Let’s get started!
Oh, carbs. How we love thee!
No matter the shape or flavor, we will never deny a delicious, carby, salty, pretzel.
Today, April 26, is National Pretzel Day (who knew?!), we’ve got a hot tip on how you can score a FREE PRETZEL at Wetzel’s Pretzels and a great deal on a popular pretzel at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar!
First: FREE! Wetzel’s Pretzels locations in Disney Springs and Downtown Disney (as well as locations all over the country) are offering a free Original Pretzel to anyone who stops in! [Read more…]
