Disney has to make sure each of its rides is safe and working properly. And once in a while, they’ll get new things added to them or just some good updating. Well, we noticed that one ride will be down for quite a while starting this coming January.

But, some changes just straight up break our hearts, and we’ve been experiencing quite a bit of heartbreak lately — especially when it comes to food updates. Just when we think we’ve seen the worst of it — Disney goes and breaks our hearts yet again.

It’s about to get busy! Christmas week is one of the most popular weeks to visit Disney World, and we understand why. It’s so festive around the parks during the holidays. Everything is decorated, Christmas music can be heard everywhere, and we can’t forget about the SNOAP. But because of how even MORE magical it is this week, we all want to be there. However, if you don’t already have your park reservations made, you might be out of luck, at least in one park.
2024 is shaping up to be a BIG year for Disney World.

New restaurants and rides will be opening, the Disney Dining Plan is coming back, park passes are going away, and all-day park hopping is returning! It’s a lot of change in a short amount of time, and if you’re visiting Disney World for the first time in a while you’re probably trying to decide just what your plan of attack should be. When it comes to park hopping, we think we’ve figured out the BEST order to do it — and no, we will not be taking any questions.

But this week, we saw a brand new restaurant open, Summer House on the Lake, in Disney Springs, PLUS we ate almost everything from its Cookie Bar. We also kept an eye on all the other restaurants in Disney World and we’ve noted some menu changes.
