Greetings from EPCOT!
We’re here to tell you all about everything NEW in EPCOT, from food, construction, merchandise, and more! Let’s get started!
We’ve been sipping our way around Walt Disney World today (well, this week really)!
We tried a new secret menu item over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort yesterday, and today we got adventurous and went for something a bit spicier at Disney’s Riviera Resort. And, of course, we also had to return to one of our favorite spots to grab a sip when visiting EPCOT — La Cava del Tequila. And, let us tell ya, their drinks don’t disappoint!
We get it, picking a restaurant to visit in Disney World is SO HARD. There are so many choices!! And as a first-timer, it can be suuuuper overwhelming.
Don’t worry, DFB to the rescue! We put out a poll on Facebook asking which Disney World restaurant first-timers should ALWAYS try on their first visit. You, our readers, all had SO many good recommendations (we love the passion in our fellow Disney-lovers!). We went through each response and narrowed down the spots with the most shout-outs, and put them all in one easy list!
When it comes to bars, we keep going back to La Cava del Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT.

La Cava del Tequila
We’ve had some great drink experiences there, from an Agave Experience to some unique margaritas (like tomato) and a Not-So-Old-Fashioned. We’ve even had a special edition mezcal there — with grasshoppers! So we pay attention when something new gets added to the menu there!
Happy birthday to one of our favorite Disney stars!
The Rock’s birthday is May 2nd, and in honor of the occasion (AND Cinco de Mayo), the Moana star is giving US presents! In the form of guacamole!
In February, we tried a SUPER cool drink in EPCOT for National Margarita Day.
Ever heard of a margarita with a smoke bubble on top?! They exist, and they’re AWESOME. We’ve tried quite a few in the past, but the National Margarita Day specialty sip from La Cava del Tequila was advertised as super limited edition. That is…until now.
Hey, DFB readers! We’re busy eating our way around Disney World (as we do), and wanted to take some time to update you on some restaurant changes this week!

Who doesn’t love a Mickey cupcake?
So while we were busy hanging out at the Spice Road Table Bar, drinking coffee with tiny cookies in it, admiring the colors of a BRIGHT neon drink, and eating off the kid’s menu, we were also checking Disney World menus for changes and updates!
There’s no denying that a Disney World vacation can be an expensive one!
That’s why we’re always looking for ways to help YOU make the most of your money during your vacations! It’s important to know what the best values are, and just what your money can get you. So, today we’re sharing the best ways to spend $20 in each Disney World park! What are we spending our money on? Well, FOOD of course!!
Hello, DFB friends! March was a very busy month for Disney World restaurants!

Chefs de France
And although we’re busy just trying to eat our way through all of Disney’s amazing Easter snacks, we’ve also been keeping an eye on what Disney World restaurants are doing, and tracking changes on menus, prices, and more! And we saw a LOT of updates in March, so let’s get started!
We’ve been having a blast playing Disney-themed brackets over the past year, but we’ve got an EXTRA special one going on right now.
What makes it so special? You made this Disney smackdown! It’s the DFB Best Spot in Disney World Bracket and it’s built from submissions from YOU. That’s right, every item on this bracket is a spot that means a LOT to one of our readers, and we’re so excited to find out which one is the best of the best (even if they’re all AMAZING!).
Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.
