I’ve Been Going to Disney World for 30 Years, and I JUST Discovered These Shortcuts

I’ve been going to Disney World for the better part of 30 years, so by now you’d think I would know the parks like the back of my hand.

Well, the joke’s on you because I don’t know the back of my hand very well. Just kidding, but being that I am rather directionally challenged and get turned around a lot — I definitely still don’t know all the ins and outs of the parks or what the best shortcuts are. I like to blissfully stroll from place to place like a fairy in a forest. A fairy that also probably has a tequila-based drink in her hand. And if you’re anything like me, you might want to know about these shortcuts!

Well, another week has passed in Disney World, and how is it already the middle of September?

Well, it is, and we’ve had another busy week of eating ALL the things in Disney World. You might find us, though, hanging out at the Happy Hour at The Edison some days in Disney Springs, although we did spend a little time getting to know the new menu at Pecos Bill in Magic Kingdom (and we’ll get to those changes in a bit). We also tried six NEW snacks in Disney World — and we have thoughts. Additionally, we spent some time digging through Disney World restaurant menus to track other changes, so let’s get to the menu updates.

Where Is Cars Land Going in Magic Kingdom?

Well, friends…even though Lightning McQueen is leaving Hollywood Studios, you’ll see him in a Disney World park again.

CONFIRMED: 5 New Permanent Closures Will Hit Disney World

As Walt Disney once said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” The same goes for Disney World, as a lot of changes are about to be coming across all the parks.

D23 happened last month and we got so many new and exciting announcements! Unfortunately, these exciting announcements also mean that existing parts of the parks will close to make way for these new offerings. While change can be scary, and we are sad to see these parts of the park go, we are looking forward to what is to come in the future. There are currently five permanent closures on the horizon at Disney World.

“Hm. That’s a Little Off-Putting.” Starbucks Just Released a NEW Drink in Disney World, and We Have Thoughts

We have a love/hate relationship with Starbucks in Disney World. On the one hand, we do like having Starbucks ready to serve us a shot of caffeine when we need it (which comes up a lot when traipsing all over Disney World).

However, we also hate the long lines we often see at Starbucks in Disney World because everyone has the same idea. We DO, though, get excited when the new drink menu hits, and we recently reunited with Pumpkin Spice Latte, as well as some NEW fall drinks. Well, Starbucks just released ANOTHER new seasonal drink, so we had to try it.

Disney World’s Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland is home to all kinds of Southwestern-inspired dishes, making it a popular stop among many Magic Kingdom visitors. Well, the restaurant is looking a little different these days, having introduced SEVERAL new items to its menu. We stopped by to review the new offerings and the results were kind of surprising!

We Will NEVER Watch Magic Kingdom Fireworks the Same Way After This 💔

One of the best ways to end the night in Disney World is with fireworks.

They all lived happily… ever… after.

Whether you’re watching Luminous — the Symphony of Us in EPCOT, Fantasmic and Wonderful World of Animation in Hollywood Studios, or Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, you’ll be treated to a display of Disney music and pyrotechnic prowess, usually topped with some general nostalgia and a heartwarming storyline. But Magic Kingdom perhaps takes the cake for the most emotional show, and nowadays, those fireworks just hit different.

TRON Lightcycle / Run has been one of the most popular rides in Disney World since it opened on April 4th, 2023.

The fast-paced roller coaster takes you into the grid of the popular TRON movies. As Team Blue and Team Green race, you’ll find yourself having a blast on your lightcycle. When the ride first opened, it was only available through a virtual queue boarding group and Lightning Lane Single Pass (previously Individual Lightning Lane). But recently, its line offerings have changed, and we are SHOCKED by the outcome!
