Halloween might be over, but Hocus Pocus season is year-round!

At the end of last year, Disney announced that Hocus Pocus 2 would be debuting on Disney+ (Eeeeeeeek!). Yep, after almost 30 years, we’re returning to the hijinks of the Sanderson Sisters. The film has been in production for some time and now we have a FIRST LOOK.
Disney attractions becoming movies is not necessarily a new thing, but with the wild success of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise, and now Jungle Cruise (which is getting a sequel), we’re certain to see more!
There’s always room for one more…
One upcoming Disney movie based on an attraction we’re excited about is the Haunted Mansion movie. Yes, there was a previous Haunted Mansion movie with Eddie Murphy, but Disney is making another one, and well, you know what they say — there’s always room for one more (see what we did there?).

This is Halloween!
…spooky season has officially arrived! We started celebrating last month as soon as the Halloween decorations went up at Disney World and the first Disney After Hours BOO Bash event took place. But there’s more Halloween fun on the way! Soon, we’ll see even more Halloween merchandise become available, AND a spooktacular television viewing tradition will return this year! Disney+ and Netflix are two of the most popular services right now and, as long as you have those two, you’ll be up-to-date on the hottest conversation topics. But which service is better? Today, we’re discussing the times the two streaming giants went head to head…and which one came out on top!

Although many of Disney’s most recent movies have done well with both audiences and critics (Raya and the Last Dragon, Onward, Soul, Luca, and Cruella), there are some classics that tend to get panned widely.
It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen a Marvel movie, so we are SO stoked about the upcoming Black Widow film!

As more people get vaccinated against COVID-19, the health and safety guidelines regarding masks continue to change, both at Disney World and across the U.S.

And as these guidelines change, we’ll be seeing more updates from other businesses as they begin to loosen those guidelines in their own establishments.

Disney first announced that this sequel was coming (after almost 30 YEARS!) at the end of last year, and we’ve been eagerly waiting for more news. And now, we finally know more — including a release timeline!
Here at DFB, it’s pretty obvious that we’re big Disney fans (and if you’re reading this you probably are too! 😉). And that love isn’t just for the theme parks — it’s for the movies and TV shows too.
