Welcome back to Magic Kingdom!
We’re back in the park to check out everything new and exciting in construction, merchandise, and more. Let’s get started!
It’s a great day to spot some characters in Magic Kingdom!
Earlier today, we saw some RARE characters: Moana, Mulan, and all FIVE of the Hundred Acre Wood friends! Sure, we love the normal character cavalcades and random encounters around the parks, but it was pretty fun to see Disney switchin’ it up. And today, those cavalcades were looking a little different…because they had some new pals onboard!
It’s a JOY to see our favorite Disney friends in the parks!
Magic Kingdom is a great spot to meet characters — even with character meet and greets still unavailable. Between the Character Cavalcades and random Character Encounters, we still see our pals a lot. Today, though, we spotted some NEW friendly faces in Disney World!
There’s no denying it: it’s been a WEIRD few years for movies.
In response to the global health crisis, Disney’s approach to releasing movies has been creative and surprising at times. It can seem kind of random how they decide to release each of their films. So, is Disney playing favorites with certain movies getting a “better” type of release? Let’s take a look!
Because of the pandemic, things have truly changed when it comes to movies. Some have indicated that the movie-going experience may never look the same again.
But, as they say, when one door closes (even temporarily), another door opens…and that door goes by the name Disney+! Disney World has made some significant changes over the past year in its parks, hotels, and more.
One of the biggest changes has been in Disney’s entertainment. Last year, Disney even reorganized part of its businesses to make streaming the primary focus of its entertainment. Disney is also investing LOTS into Disney+. As Disney continues to adapt and evolve, and the situation with the pandemic and its parks develops, we’re left to wonder…is Disney+ the future of for the Walt Disney Company?
When Disney+ first debuted in 2019, it was met with pretty instant success and a surge of subscribers across different demographics (a.k.a. it’s not all people with kiddos on there). But even Disney itself didn’t predict just how successful Disney+ would quickly become.
Like other at-home streaming platforms, Disney+ has been in the spotlight in a MAJOR way over the past year. Disney+ quickly went from just another piece of the Disney brand to something much bigger. So much so that Disney restructured some of its businesses to make streaming its primary focus for entertainment. While other parts of the Walt Disney Company are closed and Disney reports some big losses, Disney+ has become a major focus for Disney. But just how much is Disney+ making?
The EPCOT Festival of the Arts is one of those experiences in Disney World you could spend hours at or return to time and time again. And, each time you visit the festival, you’ll probably find something new that you haven’t seen previously!

Festival of the Arts
The beauty of the Festival of the Arts is that the performers and artists who come together to create entertainment are constantly transforming EPCOT with new installations and entertainment. Today, though, one piece of artwork has TOTALLY amazed us with the amount of detail!

And of course, we’re here for all of the Instagram-worthy food and entertainment from The Voices of Liberty, but what would the Festival of the Arts be without, well, ART?!
