Who’s ready to kick off 2023?!
We’re in Disney World for the start of the New Year’s Eve celebrations, and we’re checking out all the offerings — from new merchandise to snacks to special celebrations. One thing that Disney World does annually is a countdown to the new year, and if you can’t be in the park with us, you can watch along from home!
Is there any better place to be to celebrate New Year’s Eve than in Disney World?
Sure, it’s a bit busy, but there’s SO much going on for New Year’s Eve and Disney knows how to throw a good party. There are also a TON of New Year’s snacks to enjoy, and we’re trying them all, including a sweet treat at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
If you’ve got a little one sitting next to you, cover their eyes…because we’re about to show something SCARY.
Did anyone else scream?! Yep, those are the crowds in Disney World today, specifically EPCOT. The parks typically get pretty busy in the week between Christmas and New Year, but what we’re seeing today is unlike any other crowds we’ve seen this year. Don’t believe us? Keep scrolling to see the proof.
We’re just a few days away from the end of the year, and we’re ready to kick off 2023!
With the remaining days we have left until next year in Disney World, we’re watching the crowds (it’s a popular time to visit!), looking out for new merchandise, and of course, scouring the parks for some limited-time treats. And now, Disney World has announced ALL the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day eats and drinks that will be available!
It’s not always easy to decide what time of year to visit Disney World.
Do you take advantage of school or holiday breaks? Visit in the summer for the warm heat? Plan your trips around EPCOT festivals or runDisney marathons? Or, you might plan around one very specific Disney World element — CROWDS. Some people don’t mind them but others will avoid them at all costs. So what are the crowds like in January? We’re here to break it down for you!
You need to get your Park Pass Reservations ASAP because Disney World is starting to SELL OUT for New Year’s Day!
Disney World’s Park Pass Reservation system began in 2020 when the parks reopened after the COVID-19 closures. The new-ish system means you have to get reservations for each park you plan to visit in addition to the park tickets themselves. If you’ll be in Disney World on New Year’s Day, you need to get those passes NOW. [Read more…]
Thanksgiving has come and gone, and that means the holidays are right around the corner!
If you’re planning a holiday trip to Disney World, be prepared for crowds, long waits, and a whole lot of festive fun. But, if you haven’t already booked those Park Pass Reservations you might want to do so soon, as availability is starting to fill up quickly around Christmas and New Year’s!
With the holidays quickly approaching, Disney World is getting a bit more crowded every day.
Many guests plan their trips around the holidays, too — making sure to spend Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve (or both!) in the parks. But, with waves of people heading to Disney World, there’s always a chance the parks could reach capacity with no other guests allowed in. It’s rare, but it can occur — so here’s everything that happens when a Disney World park hits capacity.
The holidays will be here before we know it!
Lots of people are focused on Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas at the moment, but New Year’s creeps up on many people every year. Disney World is open for both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (you can check the park hours here), and if you want a sit-down dining reservation for one of those days, you’ll have to be quick because they can go FAST. If you want one, you’re going to want to grab it NOW!
