Yep, time flies! In the meantime, we’ve been checking out some new foods and drinks in the parks, and keeping an eye on restaurant menus. Well, it has CERTAINLY been a big week for Disney World news, right?

We finally got LOADS of new details about the Cars expansion coming to Frontierland, including that it will be called Piston Peak, and that it will introduce some new characters into the Cars universe (now if only Disney would drop some hints about what kind of FOOD this expansion will have — we have questions!). Anyway, speaking of food, we’ve been monitoring menu changes at Disney World restaurants all week, so let’s take a look at what’s been updated.
Well, it’s certainly been a busy week for Disney World, hasn’t it?
Mickey Lemon Cookie
We’ve been getting TONS of details about spooky season, most notably about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, including dates and things you can expect at the parties this year. In fact, for some Disney World visitors, tickets are already on sale! Yep, we’re about halfway to Halloween, so it’s time to start planning for spooky fun. However, we’re going to come back to spring in Disney World to look at restaurant changes that happened this week.
Well, it’s been another week in Disney World, just basically eating our way around, well, EVERYTHING.

This week saw more Easter snacks popping up (so of course, we’re trying them) PLUS the Easter Egg displays are now up at the hotels (and you should TOTALLY check them out if you’re around). Disney World restaurant menus have changed this week, too, so let’s check out those updates.

This week has been especially fun for us because we got to meet our Villaintines PLUS we got to see a baby tiger. Seriously, BEST WEEK EVER. We even found our new favorite Disney World popcorn bucket — and it’s GORGEOUS. However, Disney World was changing up restaurant menus while we were having all that fun, so let’s see what’s been updated this week.
Dining at table service restaurants in Disney World can be fantastic, but worrying about getting reservations 60 days in advance of your trip and taking 1-2 hours out of your park day just to eat can be stressful, so it may not always be the best fit.
Garden Grill Restaurant
Sometimes, though, you want something a little more elevated than a quick-service meal, which leaves you at a bit of a loss. Fear not, though — there’s a middle ground that we absolutely love, and that’s Disney World lounges! Lounges are fantastic because you get the same elevated menu from table service restaurants without the time expectancy or the reservations. If you want to hit some lounges in 2025 but don’t want to spend an arm and leg for too small of plates, these are the top lounges we recommend!
