Will you be visiting Disneyland in 2024?
If so, in case you haven’t already heard, you’ll need to know that a fan-favorite Disney California Adventure attraction is temporarily CLOSED for refurbishment!
If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom soon, you need to be prepared for the HOT MESS that is Frontierland right now!

Frontierland sign
Almost HALF of the attractions in this land are currently closed, and they won’t reopen for several more weeks at least. Let’s check out those closures and all the temporary refurbishments happening in Disney World from February 25th through March 2nd.
Disney World has lots of different construction projects happening right now.
Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are under construction in Magic Kingdom, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is under refurbishment (again) in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and multiple different Disney World hotels have projects underway. But there’s one hotel project that we’re starting to get REALLY worried about.
Let’s face it — Going to Disney World is NOT a relaxing vacation. You start your day with chaotic rope drop in the morning, then you race to as many rides as possible, wait in a bunch of lines, walk approximately one million steps, and pass out cold as soon as your head hits the pillow each night. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, the theme parks are NOT where you’ll find it. That’s why we recommend checking out the pools at your Disney World hotel to grab some actual relaxation time!

If you’re staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter, you’ll need to know about these pool CLOSURES that could affect your vacation. But don’t worry! At both hotels, you have a few backup options so you don’t have to completely give up your chill pool time. Let’s check out those closures and all the temporary refurbishments happening in Disney World from February 18th through the 24th.
It’s no secret that EPCOT has been changing a lot lately!
World Celebration recently reopened after a multi-year closure and a major makeover, and we’re keeping a close eye on construction at CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza — new areas of the park that are set to open this year. But besides those major projects, we’ve been noticing quite a few small changes. Including one change that the foodies will be interested in!
FINALLY! Two long-term closures that have plagued Disney World for a WHILE are going to come to an end within the next couple of months.

Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle
We can’t wait for these things to finally be open and available again in the parks!
In the middle of January, we noticed a popular shop in Disney Springs had closed its doors to customers.
Several shops have been closing in the Disney Springs district in recent months while others have replaced them. The shopping and dining area of Disney World is a popular place to hang out and visit on days when you don’t have a park ticket or if you’re simply looking to have fun outside of the parks. Now, we have some good news to share with you about the beloved beauty store, Basin!
Sometimes Disney has to close down certain rides, restaurants, and attractions in order to update and refurbish them. Usually, those closures only last a few weeks or maybe a few months at most. But there are a couple of things that have been MISSING from Magic Kingdom for a LONG time now, and we’re starting to wonder if they’ll ever return at all!

Don’t Worry — Cinderella Castle Is Still There!
Let’s check out these mysteriously missing things and take a look at ALL the temporary closures and refurbishments that will affect Disney World from February 4th through the 10th.
Who wants to hop on a plane with us and go to Paris? 🙋
Yep, we suddenly want to go to Disneyland Paris. First, we NEED to see a Disney park covered in SNOW because the photos from that event were PURE MAGIC. Of course, we also wouldn’t mind checking out the food there, too. However, what we REALLY want to do is book a stay at the reopened Disneyland Hotel, which recently got a ROYAL makeover. Now, we’re going to take you on a virtual tour of these princess-worthy rooms.
Watch out! There are several ride, restaurant, and hotel pool CLOSURES happening next week in Disney World, and they might impact your upcoming vacation!
