We love a lot of things about Disney World. The rides, the characters, the energy, and of course, the food. We are Disney Food Blog after all. We have our favorites all over Disney World, and we are constantly trying new food items and revisiting food items to make sure we are giving you the best advice. We have been fans of the hushpuppies at Columbia Harbour House for a while now — and we still remember the hushpuppies’ disappearance in 2024! The Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship – the Disney Destiny – is about to set sail for its maiden voyage, and we got a sneak peek at everything the new ship has to offer.

The Destiny features several exciting new experiences for the line, including a heavy Marvel presence (a Spider-Man stern character, a fresh take on the World of Marvel restaurant featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy, a Wakanda-themed atrium, and a Doctor Strange lounge that recreates the Sanctum Sanctorum), a Hercules stage show, a Pirates of the Caribbean lounge,  and — our focus today — a NEW Lion King dining experience!

Over in Disney Springs, you can find Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’! This table service restaurant has been an obsession of ours for literal years, thanks to its southern comfort food and Florida-inspired cuisine. The restaurant recently debuted some new menu options, so we had to test them out and see if they live up to the restaurant’s stellar reputation!

We also check in on Disney restaurants every so often to see if the food is still worth recommending. Now, some Disney World restaurants have reached ICON status and make the “must-visit” lists for any new Disney visitor. But it’s our job to make sure they still deserve a spot on that “must-visit” list!

BRUNCH ALERT: The Secret Place To Get a HUGE Michelin-Recommended Meal Near Disney World

Tucked away just outside of Disney World is a lovely little restaurant called Four Flamingos. This isn’t just any old restaurant, though. Four Flamingos is a Michelin-Recommended restaurant with an excellent menu crafted by celebrity chef Richard Blais. If you’re in the Orlando area, we highly recommend a visit. In fact, why don’t you go ahead and mark October 26th on your calendar now? There’s a special event happening soon!
