But last week was an unusually unlucky week for Disney World, and if you were visiting you might have gotten caught up in it.
There are many ways your day can be ruined at Disney World — in fact, it’s quite EASY to have a terrible time.

Your favorite ride is closed, all the lines have two-hour wait times, it won’t stop raining…we could go on. The good news is that for every problem there’s a solution, and we’ve got you covered. Trust us, you don’t want to be the person having the worst day in Disney World.
We LOVE Disney World…but also, we sometimes HATE Disney World.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Okay, we don’t hate ALL of Disney World, but like any other place, there are some things in the parks that might not be the most enjoyable. Whether it’s the manic weather or the hefty bill we have to foot at the end of our trip, there are some things in Disney World that we despise. But many times, you can actually avoid those problems!
Even Disney World attractions wake up sometimes and decide to take a day off! While some attractions, like Expedition Everest, have been unavailable for a few months now, other rides may randomly close without warning. You never know when a Star Wars animatronic on Rise of the Resistance or the Na’vi shaman on Na’vi River Journey may decide to take a break!

But it’s a real bummer if you had your heart set on a certain attraction and don’t realize it’s closed until you get there. That’s why we’re here — we’re going to do our best to keep you updated on ride closures and refurbishments.
Disney World is constantly updating and changing attractions, hotels, and shops. If you’re visiting the parks soon, don’t be surprised if a few spots are closed for refurbishments.
