Okay yes, it started to feel like the holiday season when we saw all the decorations in Magic Kingdom. And it felt even MORE like Christmas when we tried some of the festive snacks. We may have also shed a tear when we heard “Once Upon a Christmastime” playing and watched today’s character cavalcades.

But now we’re officially DONE. Out for the count. FULL tears. It’s over guys. The holiday projections on Cinderella Castle are so gorgeous, so crisp, so festive — you’ve GOT to see them!

Halloween may have just happened a few days ago and Thanksgiving is around the corner, but it’s the beginning of November which (in Disney World) means the holiday season has begun!

We’ve already spotted some animal lanterns and beautiful decorations around the Discovery Island area, the holiday Starbucks mug, and TONS of adorable merchandise we’ve totally added to our Christmas list. Yesterday, Cast Member previews gave us insight into some of the new Walt Disney World construction updates like the reveal of the newly freshened up Cinderella Castle.

We recently saw a curious-looking big blue wall go up in the middle of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. (Spoiler: it was installed to isolate the visiting NBA players from Disney guests.) While taking a ride on the monorail, we noticed progress on a different Grand Floridian construction project we’ve been keeping our eyes on for a while.
