food IS a theme park
If you’ve ever been to EPCOT during festival season, you know how wild it can get.
Here are some of our favorite items to tackle all the food booths and the Florida heat with ease!
We can’t believe it, we’re only FIVE days away from a popular restaurant finally reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian!
After being closed for almost six years, the Garden View Lounge Tea Room Experience at the Grand Floridian is officially reopening on March 19th — that’s literally right around the corner!
Buckle up, y’all, because Disney just dropped SO MUCH NEWS this week!
We’ve officially set sail on Disney’s brand-new cruise ship — the Disney Adventure — opening dates have finally been announced for a whole lineup of new attractions in Disney World, MAJOR deals are hitting the parks this year, and yes… the pink castle era is officially over. All of the latest Disney and theme park news is coming up right now on DFB Guide.
Disney World has new things popping up and changing nearly every single day, and while we’re in the parks each day to hopefully catch them all, sometimes Disney does stuff so sneakily that even we don’t catch it right away!
While Disney often will announce changes, like closures, reopenings, and changes in hours, that’s not ALWAYS the case. Sometimes, they just make the change on their website and app, and you’ll walk by one day and go “…when did those doors reopen?” That’s exactly what happened over in EPCOT‘s Mexico Pavilion — this store is BACK OPEN after nearly five years!
For decades, refillable mugs have been a favorite souvenir for many Disney fans. The current incarnation are 16 oz. insulated coffee mugs that are sold for about $23 at Disney hotels in the primary Counter Service location. Those on the Disney Dining Plan also receive a mug as part of their package.
Guests are entitled to unlimited free refills on fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating beverage locations at Disney resort hotels (both the one they’re staying at as well as others on property) for their length of stay up to 14 days. Each mug features an RFID barcode, which enables the mug to deactivate when the designated time is complete.
Since its opening in 2019, the Skyliner has become one of the resort’s most used — and most popular — modes of transportation.
The gondola system connects EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with the Riviera Resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort, the Pop Century Resort, and the Art of Animation Resort, making it a key piece of Walt Disney World’s infrastructure. Which means that, when the Skyliner goes down, things can be a bit of a nightmare.
St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and Disney Springs is the place you need to be!

St. Paddy’s at Raglan Road
Raglan Road is hosting The Mighty Festival once again this year, an annual tradition to celebrate the holiday, from March 13th-17th! The restaurant is going to be decked out in St. Patrick’s Day decor for the weekend and will be offering exclusive special dining options you can only get during the event. This is an event you MUST experience!
Our team at Disney Food Blog is Disney experts. We’re constantly in the parks and trying out the best new gadgets to make our park days even better. So when we saw this neck fan, we had to try it.
Long gone are the days of carrying a fan in your hand all day long. We tried two different neck fans, which stay on your neck like a necklace to keep you cool all day long. These sounded so convenient, but are they worth it? Let’s find out!
It’s time! The 2026 Food & Wine Festival has officially begun at Disney California Adventure!
This festival has so many amazing food and drink options! Here’s our top picks!
Let’s talk about something that can turn the final morning of your Disney World vacation from “relaxing send-off” to “uh…what just happened?”
Most Disney vacations end with a pretty predictable routine. You wake up, maybe squeeze in one last Mickey waffle, pack up your suitcase, and check out of your Disney World hotel. In theory, the process is easier than ever thanks to the My Disney Experience app. Mobile check-in and check-out mean you can skip the front desk entirely and head straight to your next destination. But lately, we’ve noticed a small (and honestly kind of awkward) issue popping up that you’ll definitely want to know about before your last day at a Disney World hotel.
Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.
