Recently, Sebastian’s Bistro reopened with a brand new dining experience! Located right by the water at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Sebastian’s Bistro is a lightly Little Mermaid-themed restaurant (makes sense — Sebastian is a Caribbean crustacean!).
Sebastian’s was previously a standard sit-down dining location. You order what you want and it’s brought to your table. Now though, the restaurant has shifted to a family-style, all-you-care-to-eat menu. We’ve rarely been wowed by this spot in the past (It’s perfectly fine if you’re staying at the resort. Otherwise, it typically hasn’t been worth going out of our way to visit.), but maybe the big shift in menu would change that?
UPDATE: Elsa has been downgraded to a tropical storm since this writing.
Disney World is no stranger to severe weather in the summer.
There are regular thunderstorms and very high temperatures to be aware of, and summer is also hurricane season. Hurricanes rarely make landfall in Orlando, but when they do, Disney World has shut down the parks a handful of times in the past. We’ve been keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Elsa, and we have an update you need to be aware of if you’re heading to Disney World in the next week.
July is officially here! It’s been nearly a full year since Disney World reopened to the public following its four-month-long closure in 2020 (seriously, where has the time gone?).
That means it has also been nearly a full year since Disney World rolled out its Park Pass Reservation System. If you’re planning on visiting Disney World next week for the 4th of July holiday, let’s take a look at what the current park hours are, as well as the latest Park Pass availability.
It’s been over a year since we’ve seen fireworks at Disney World, but that is all changing TODAY!
That’s right — fireworks at BACK in Disney World and we. are. here. for. it! We already brought you the first look at the return of Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, and now we’re over at EPCOT to check out EPCOT Forever!
Fireworks have FINALLY returned to Disney World!
When the parks reopened back in July of 2020, the fireworks shows did not return in order to avoid crowds from forming. We missed ending our day in Magic Kingdom with Happily Ever After, but now, it’s BACK!! Tonight was the first time we’ve seen the nighttime spectacular in over a YEAR and it did NOT disappoint! Take a look!
It is a BIG day in Disney World!
It’s been over a year since we last saw a full-out fireworks spectacular in Disney World. Sure, we’ve seen fireworks testing here and there, but today is the day that we’ll get to watch Disney World fireworks shows in ALL. THEIR. GLORY. again! But, of course, we’re not the only ones who are excited. Wonder what the crowds in the parks look like right now? We’re sharing all the details here with you!
It’s almost the Fourth of July, which means we’re seeing lots of red, white, and blue treats and merch in Disney World!
Today we tried a brand new treat and if you’re visiting Disney World for the Fourth of July, you might want to plan a stop for this!
YeSake in Disney Springs is proof that the best things often come in small packages! This little kiosk serves great customizable Poke bowls, Asian street food treats, boba, and sake! Besides that…interesting peppermint drink, this spot has consistently offered some amazing eats!
One of the highlights at this Disney Springs kiosk has been the yummy boba, a popular tea drink with tapioca pearls that has become a phenomenon in past few years! Just in time for summer, YeSake unveiled a new sweet treat to beat the heat!
AristoCrêpes over at Disney Springs is home to a selection of delicious bubble waffles and of course, excellent crêpes! This snack spot has been a favorite among DFB staff and fans since its opening in 2016.
