These Disney World hotels are adding some new… “character” this summer!
Pop Century
In the 50+ years since Walt Disney World opened, character meet & greets were *mostly* limited to encounters at the resort’s theme parks and water parks, and character meals. While characters have been appearing at Disney’s hotels, those stops have usually been unscheduled and hard to catch. However, that’s all about to change.
We had a fantastic time in Epic Universe for the first time last week and learned SO much about the new park in just one day.
Celestial Park
Annual Passholder previews were just announced for this new park and are going pretty fast, and Universal announced that Helios Grand Hotel is opening early as well, and for those of you who are securing your spots to go sometime this year, we’re here to tell you that you’re going to have a great time. However, we’ll be the first to admit that we do feel there’s something big missing from this park, and it’s not what you’re expecting.
Everyone can agree that the most shared complaint is that sore feet at Disney World SUCK!
Main Street
We found a few popular and comfortable options that you fellow park-goers are going to like! And yes, they are still stylish.

Typically, longer refurbishments are announced ahead of time and listed on theme park websites so that you can plan around the closure.
