Disney CEO Bob Iger and Former Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde Comment on California Wildfires
California is under a state of emergency as major fires rip through the Los Angeles area. Evacuation orders are in place in several areas. The fires have decimated homes, businesses, and schools, and officials believe the fires will continue to burn and cause more destruction on Thursday, January 9th.

According to the New York Times, Traci Park, a Los Angeles city councilwoman, said, “This is going to be devastating, a devastating loss, for all of Los Angeles.” Now, Disney CEO Bob Iger is speaking out about the fires as well.

However, the biggest price increases usually happen in the fall when we see price increases across the board at almost every Disney World restaurant location. Well, we didn’t see price hikes then for Ghirardelli in Disney Springs, but we are seeing some pretty significant price increases now. Some of the most popular ice cream sundaes at Ghirardelli now cost $2+ more. Ouch.

Okay, serious question: can you ever really have TOO many Disney mugs?

Trick question! The answer is “no!” Disney mugs are something that we pretty much all collect, after all. These are probably among the most useful (and more affordable) of Disney souvenirs, whether we use them for drinking our morning coffee, settling in with that cup of hot chocolate on a cold wintry day, or convert those mugs into pen holders (guilty!). So we’re always on the lookout for more mugs. We guess that’s why a good thing Disney just dropped some brand new mugs online.
